THANKSGIVING 2019 COUNTDOWN
Countdown to Thanksgiving 2019: 234 DAYS
Happy 2nd Week of April! We're rolling forward now into the 2nd week of the 4th month of the year after a nice spring weekend here. But Mondays always come after weekends don't they? And you know what else comes? The Countdown to Thanksgiving! We now are at 234 days till Thanksgiving! And of course Thursday we'll have our big milestone of knocking off 20 weeks off the count! Just incredible and exciting. I know you will like this but most weekends I go to the supermarket and I see this guy who works in the back. He helped me pick my Thanksgiving turkey and I think of you all and this thread when I see him. I always think to myself that maybe I'll ask him to help me again this year. Oh boy those pics of that turkey look divine that CW posted. Drool at each slice but need a little cranberry sauce on it. Have a great start to the 2nd week of April!

Morning April Special Style! We're moving along through the 2nd week of April now slowly but surely. And our Countdown to Thanksgiving continues to lower now to 233 days. Pretty amazing if you ask me. I think it's great. What do you think? We know that Thursday will be a BIG milestone for us as we will have knocked off 20 huge weeks since the last time we stuffed our face with turkey and stuffing. It was the best day ever. And that parade was just so much fun wasn't it? I remember watching it like it was yesterday. I still have it on my DVR and I think when we reach May I will put it on to celebrate being Halfway to November! Good to make some fun plans for that special month that will see us Halfway to the month we all love of November. Have a great Special April Day Everyone!

Happy Double Digits April! We're into the 10th now of April. Just like that we're moving towards Mid-Month already! And look at our Countdown this morning which stands at 232 days. That is just amazing to me. We have rolled so far through the 200s so quickly! I remember us being in the 300s not long ago. TOMORROW we reach a big Thursday as our Count will have knocked off 20 weeks off the Weekly Countdown. We'll be here to celebrate it and check with some stats as to the significance of how much we've gone through in this count now. You'll be AMAZED trust me. For now, let's all join CW at his dinner table in May as he serves us a Halfway to Thanksgiving turkey feast with all the sides. CW how much room you got for all of us? And also today I hope you all have a great Double Digits April Mid-Week!

Happy Thursday aka Friday Eve! As we roll forward through April we talk today about a big MILESTONE. First our normal Countdown is at 231 days. Nothing special right? But it's THURSDAY and that means we have Countdown Part 2. Our Weekly Countdown to Thanksgiving is at 33 weeks now. That's amazing but what's so great about it? We started at 53 weeks which means we have now officially gone through 20 weeks in this countdown! That's incredible! And what's more incredible? If we do that amount just once more (20 weeks) we will be heading into LABOR DAY WEEKEND and THE BERS. Think about that. Since we started this Countdown we're now halfway to the Bers which really starts our serious count to Thanksgiving. Just unreal. Better get some more turkey thoughts in your head at this fast rate we're going. Have a Happy Thanksgiving...oops not quite yet but it is Thursday so Have a Happy 20 weeks Down in the Count till Thanksgiving!

Happy Dozen Days into April! We're now moving towards the middle of the month. We had our huge milestone yesterday knocking off 20 weeks in the count. Today our Countdown has dropped to 230. Think about that just 30 days to go till the BIG 200. But well before that we have our 5th "28th" to look forward to making it 5 down and 7 to go. That comes in 16 days. Wow. That's insane. We're just going through this count like a knife through butter or maybe it's a knife through turkey. Gobble. Of course, here we think about drooling over the dinner table full with lots of goodies like that cranberry sauce. And enjoying that awesome parade we all love on t.v. I wonder how awesome it will be this year. We'll all wait to find out won't we? For today, I hope you all enjoy being a Dozen Days into April!

Wow...20 weeks does not seem that far away at all!! Crazy....we are moving right along...although time can slow down a little bit during summer.

Happy Mid-April Weekend! We're moving into a great weekend. It's the weekend before Easter! That makes me think of what our own Coach says about the weekend before Thanksgiving. He says that is one of his favorite weekends of the year. I remember last year taking note of how special it felt and I have to agree with him. That is an awesome weekend. But right now we have our Countdown to Thanksgiving at 229 days. Into the 220s now! And with our 28th ahead of us that's going to be fun to reach. We're going to hopefully reach it in style. And then we'll say 5 down and 7 to go. That's big. We're moving right through April almost too quickly so far if you ask me. Let's hope November won't go this fast! If I had to pick 1 moment that makes me more excited than ANY other of the year it's when that parade comes on at 9AM Eastern time Thanksgiving morning. Turkey in the oven, that special feeling, the holiday season fully beginning...oh man makes me smile even here in April!
I watched the first 40 minutes of the 2018 parade the other day. I didn't get to watch it when it was on last November, because we were traveling. Just those few minutes of the parade have me excited for the next.

And I know this will really hit you but we are 20 weeks from September 1 today! 20 weeks we knocked off our count and 20 weeks to go till September when we are really on the road back to November & Thanksgiving. Think about that. Just incredible. I don't know about you but I'm in NO RUSH to go through the next 20 weeks. Let's just enjoy it shall we? And let's enjoy the Countdown this morning which is at 228 days. And look at us 2 weeks from today reaching our 5th 28th! That will be another huge milestone. Just milestone after milestone. That's what has helped us accomplish so much. Well for now all of you Thanksgiving Fans and turkeys alike please enjoy your Sunday. We've gotta enjoy the last week before Easter. It truly is the most exciting day of the year for me as an adult. With my love of Christmas and being thankful for everything I have at the same time, there is no better day to celebrate both. A day to be thankful and reflect, and looking forward to celebrating the Christmas season with the rest of the world.
I celebrate those slices of turkey and stuffing smothered in gravy!! There really is no other holiday where just the smells of it cooking are like a family reunion in your head.

Happy Tax Day! It's Mid-April now folks! We're rolling towards the middle of the month and into the 2nd half of the month tomorrow. Awesome feeling isn't it? April has definitely been going as fast as March did. Not sure why but every year it feels these spring months go faster than winter or even summer months. Our Countdown today is at 227 days. That's a nice number. 227. We're looking at less than 2 weeks till our next milestone which is our 5th 28th and will leave us only with 7 to go till the big feast with turkey, stuffing, and all the trimmings. But this week there is a little surprise I'll have here in this countdown. It should be later this week. Hopefully you will enjoy it as its something I look forward to every spring. It does have to do with Thanksgiving of course. For now, have a great Tax Day to start the long work week here in Mid-April everyone!
