Happy Last Week of September! We are rolling now down the home stretch of the 1st Bers month of the year. I have to tell you all I've gained a lot of appreciation for September this year (not that I didn't have it already). And I really love how it just brings us so many changes and sets us up for the Big 3 ahead. But first things first let's enjoy this last week of September. The Countdown to Thanksgiving is at 65 days. And the Countdown to November is down to 38. Just sounds so close now to both. Yikes. Can we rewind and go back to 300+ days? Nah let's not. Let's enjoy entering the most wonderful time of year. This is a great ride now folks. And we have 1 more week to enjoy in September so let's all do it. Have a great Last Week of September!

Happy Late September! Oh and it's Rudolph Day #9! That's just a bonus today. And we have our countdowns to look at as always which continue to dwindle down here in late September. 64 days remain until Thanksgiving. That's just over 2 months. Our 10th "28th" will happen on Saturday. Oh boy that is gonna be huge to start the weekend. Our Countdown to November is down to 37 days. Both countdowns are awesome if you ask me. I love them. And they continue to go in the right direction. It almost makes me dream of the turkey and stuffing to come in the not too distant future. What about all of you? Any of you drooling yet of all those amazing tastes? Hmm? I know that I am. And I love it. It's the best feeling in the world. Deliciousness personified. Have a great late September Rudolph Day #9!

Happy October Looming! With that said you know that everything else is getting closer since we are all about the month right after October. Our Countdown to Thanksgiving is at 63 days. That translates to 9 weeks folks. We are in SINGLE DIGITS WEEKS. We started in the 50s (at 53) and moved through them into the 40s, 30s, 20s, 10s, and now down to 9. WOW. Our Countdown to November is at 36 days. That's sweet. A little over a month which sounds right since we have 5 days left of September and 31 wonderful days of October ahead of us first. It's getting more and more real by the day and October will verify that for us. That's almost the perfect month to me. Can't wait for it. Hope you all are doing ok. Have a great October Looming Day!

Happy Final Friday of September! Boy we made it to another Bers Friday and the first one of Autumn officially. 62 days remain until Thanksgiving. 35 days remain until November. That is 5 weeks. 5 weeks from today NOVEMBER. Think about that. I've got chills thinking about it and it looks like the Autumn chill will arrive here the 2nd half of next week into next weekend. I can't wait to feel it (but the shorts will have to be put away after this weekend. Kind of sad). It's all part of the Autumn process though. I'm happy we have one more weekend in September to enjoy before the Big 3 arrive. It's hard to believe we are right on the doorstep of it happening but that is indeed where we are. I'm excited and happy for it. Have a great Final Friday of September!

Happy First Weekend of Autumn! 61 days remain till Thanksgiving. And we have 34 days left until November. But today is special for several reasons. One of them is it's the weekend and Saturday! Another is that we have reached our 10th "28th" folks! 10 down and 2 to go till Thanksgiving. I remember us saying the reverse (2 down and 10 to go) not long ago at all. How did this happen? Well the countdown here has been fun and will continue through the last few days of September before reaching the absolutely awesome month of October. A personal fav here for me. And I hope you all are ready to enjoy this weekend. For us, this will be the last shorts weekend (for us sane folks at least). I can't wear shorts when highs are in the low 60s. Too cold for my legs. Our Countdown to Thanksgiving is at 59 days which is less than 2 months now. Our Countdown to November is at 32 days which is just over 1 month. Oh boy. We're running out of count here! But we have enough to go still to enjoy and the best part of the count is coming (the month of October) before we celebrate right after Halloween reaching NOVEMBER! And then down the home stretch finale to Thanksgiving. Not many steps to go folks. Not a lot left. But still enough to enjoy and have fun with. The best time is just really getting going now. That makes it seem so much more real now and scary in a Halloween October way. Today we have 58 days until Thanksgiving. And we also have 31 days until November. Yes the 31 days of October begins today culminating in Halloween which many of us also love. This is the last full month of a countdown until Thanksgiving month is here. And that is an amazing thing. For so long it seemed so far away and now it doesn't seem that far. Time to step it up and really enjoy this month of October before we are basking in the glow of November here in the Thanksgiving Countdown. Have a great October Arrives Day!

Happy Hot October! Today is kind of the opposite of Thanksgiving 2018 here. What do I mean? It was brutally cold last year on Thanksgiving (a little too cold for my liking) and this year here in early October it's going well into the 80s with humidity. Yikes. Can you imagine if Thanksgiving was that warm? I guess it depends on the area you are from. Today's Countdown to Thanksgiving has dropped down to 57 days now. And our Countdown to November is at an even 30. 1 month from now is November. Unreal. And then we're all thinking Thanksgiving and Turkey thoughts the entire month. And we'll be here together to celebrate it. Doesn't seem real that we're into the 11th month since November. This is the last one before we arrive there again. Just amazing. Have a great Hot October Pines Day!

Happy October Dreams! We hit 90 yesterday. It was crazy but luckily that was the end of the heat till next spring/summer. Back to normal (and even below normal) over the next week or 2. Our Countdown to Thanksgiving is at 56 days and as you all know it's Thursday. That translates to 8 weeks. 8 people. Not 53 anymore. Not 35. Not 17. 8. Geez. And our Countdown to November is at 29 days which is under 1 month to go till the magical month of November. Imagine the excitement in this thread when we reach it? It's something we dreamed about all year and being in October assures us we are close now to that month we love. November. I hope the parade plans are all going well and soon we'll have to make all of our turkey plans to go with it. Isn't that a wonderful thought? Have a great October Dreams Day!

Happy October TGIF! We are heading into an October Weekend folks. That's pretty amazing and awesome. They are even a little more special than September Weekends are. It's amazing but maybe not quite as amazing as the best 'long weekend' of the year? That would be Thanksgiving Weekend which most of us have off at some point early Wednesday through Sunday. Well our Countdown to Thanksgiving is at 55 days at double nickles. And our Countdown to November is at 28 days which is 4 weeks from today. Amazing on both counts isn't it? 4 weeks till November. Geez. Let's enjoy October though. I actually feel the last few days slowed down a little and I hope that is a trend I can continue through this entire month of October. Turkey Fans unite through this month of October as the Canadian Thanksgiving approaches first. Have a great October TGIF!

That's a big change from all the warmth we had the last few weeks. But it's October. And that means it's close to our time of year so it should be a little chilly out now. Our Countdown to Thanksgiving is at 54 days. On Wednesday we reach 50 which will be a big marker for us to acknowledge. Our Countdown to November is at 27 days. Let's just enjoy October as long as we can so we don't run out of that countdown for a little while still. It is a great Saturday morning here and I hope where you are as well. All you turkey fans are thinking hmm is it really as close to turkey time as we think it is? Well yes it is. That's why we have this count to remind us of that fact.
