COUNTDOWN TO THE BERS 2020: 204 DAYS

Happy Double Digits February! Into the 2nd full week of February we go. Some of you may have off next Monday for President's Day so something extra to look forward to all week long. But something we look forward to every single day of the year here in this thread are 3 countdowns we have. They are as follows: 290 days until Thanksgiving; 265 days until November; and 204 days until the Bers. Ok and we've been focusing a lot on that final one of the 3 counts because on Friday we'll reach the huge 200 marker. That's hard to believe that we only have 4 more days left to have all 3 of or counts together in the 2s after today. Knocked off 10 days off the "2s" now for Thanksgiving too and the November count is dropping closer towards the halfway point from 300 to 200. That's the status of all 3 counts as we begin this week. Happy February Stroll! Strolling through this 2nd month of 2020 now on the 11th of the month. Is it time for Thanksgiving yet? That's probably your question. The answer is not yet. In fact, not for quite a very long time. How long? It's 289 days until Thanksgiving. Is that too long? Ok well how about 264 days till November? Still too long huh? Ok let's try this 203 days until the Bers! Ahh not QUITE as long there huh? Indeed in 3 days we'll reach the 200 marker to the Bers and head into the "1s" this weekend. What better way to spend the weekend this weekend than seeing that countdown drop into the 1s territory. It will make the Bers seem not quite as far away. Ok so it's Tuesday which means I have 48 hours to come up with a poll. I think that I have a couple of ideas for this week. We'll settle on it tomorrow and then post it on Thursday. Ironically CW I have turkey, cranberry sauce and gravy tonight...but I'm glad you're sick "now" in February not in November when trying to enjoy the real deal!

Happy Dozen Days of February! Already almost into Mid-Month. Can you believe that? Not to rush it but February seems to be moving along pretty quickly. I guess staying busy makes time go fast. And these 3 countdowns may be a part of that. We have 288 days until Thanksgiving, 263 days until November, and 202 days until the Bers. Our focus is on Friday when we will reach the 200 marker to the Bers before settling into a "1s" count in this thread for the first time ever. That sound exciting to you? I did have turkey last night with cranberry sauce and gravy. Delicious. It wasn't a full Thanksgiving meal but just a smaller taste and reminder of it. And boy did it taste good. And it was such a great reminder. I loved it. I savored it and even saved a little leftovers for lunch for Friday. Hmmm poll time tomorrow. I have one now ready to go. I hope you will all enjoy it. Happy February Teens! It's Thursday! Yes, our favorite day here in this thread. Extra special stuff happening as always. First of all let's get to our 3 counts. We have 287 days until Thanksgiving, 262 days until November and 201 days until the Bers. TOMORROW we hit the HUGE milestone of #200 to the Bers. The end of the 2s is near for the Bers! With it being a Thursday I want to mention the weeks countdown which now is at 41. WHOA! How did that happen? Our weeks to Thanksgiving are heading towards 40 next week? The 4s is the longest stretch and somehow it's gone too fast!
Now it's time for a poll this week. This weeks bi-weekly poll is about stuffing. What is your favorite kind of stuffing to make on Thanksgiving?:
A.) Cornbread
B.) Sage
C.) Boxed
D.) Pecan
E.) "Other" (and if you choose this please tell us HOW you make your stuffing
Alright I am "stuffed" a bit after going to the buffet tonight but there was no turkey or gravy in sight. My choice for the poll? I actually wind up having Boxed Stuffing usually. So my answer is C. Let me know yours. Have a great February Teens!

Homemade for me I make what I was taught long ago using saltines as the base and build from there layers of deliciousness!!!!! Oh man now I want stuffing!!

I do Pepperidge farm stuffing but add additional spices and last year I put ground sausage in it and everyone loved it. Stuffing is my favorite side...now I am hungry for it! lol

I might be the odd one out in the group, because i don't care for stuffing in general!

UNBELIEVABLY excited that today is 201 days until the 'bers. I still have not decided what I will do to commemorate the milestone tomorrow, but it will be something, even if it is small. This is like the perfect run of milestones and mini-milestones, with 200 days till the ber's happening tomorrow, Rudolph Day happening in 12 days, and then finally hitting the 300 days till Christmas milestone in just 16 days from today! Happy Thursday!

My wife has a recipe for stuffing that has been passed down through her family. Her stuffing is a highlight of Thanksgiving! We love it every year, and since she only makes it on Thanksgiving, she makes a ton of it so that it can be frozen and enjoyed throughout the year. It’s wonderful.

Can I go with A & C? Boxed cornbread stuffing because, 1) I'm sorta lazy, and 2) we don't do turkey at our house, but do enjoy stuffing as a side with some meals.

A,B,C,D! I cant make cornbread due to lack of attention growing up, but I do enjoy it if its made right. Straight homemade gives me heartburn and I find most of it kind of pastey. I like boxed mixed with homemade and pecans are delish in anything.
