Tomorrow is a big day for all of us. And by the way, incredible we have over 400 posts in this thread and it's not even 25% of the way. Thanks to everyone for the extra support so far. Let's keep this thing going through the rest of winter and beyond.

COUNTDOWN TO THANKSGIVING 2020: 286 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO NOVEMBER 2020: 261 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO THE BERS 2020: 200 DAYS

Happy Valentine's Day! It's another day. Ho Hum right? Umm wait maybe not. It's Valentine's Day (if you enjoy that sort of thing). It's Friday (we're ALL into that sort of thing). And it's a HUGE milestone day to the Bers. Let's look at our counts. We have 286 days until Thanksgiving. We have 261 days until November. And last but not least we have 200 days until the Bers! Ok now everyone look at those 2s. This is the LAST time in this thread you'll ever see all 3 countdowns in the 2s. Let that hit you. It's still only the middle of February but somehow the counts are already moving along. And today is a big day for sure being 200 days away from the best time of year which is the Bers. I always say this but basically 90-95% of the best things of the year happen in only 33% of the year. That's what makes the Bers so special is how it brings us everything we love the most (including stuffing). And that stuffing poll was fun yesterday. Have a great Valentine's Day!

WOO HOO - 200 days until the 'bers! We are celebrating tonight with my wife making her potato soup, which is a traditional fall / winter meal for us. Thick creamy broth and spicy sausage! One bite and it will "feel" like fall! Happy Friday, MMC!

What a combo! Valentines, Friday, and 200 days to go til the Bers. Today isn’t usually a big holiday but this one sure is better than most other Feb 14th!

COUNTDOWN TO THANKSGIVING 2020: 285 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO NOVEMBER 2020: 260 DAYS
COUNTDOWN TO THE BERS 2020: 199 DAYS

Happy Middle Day of February! It's here folks. Yes, it's Saturday. Yes it's the middle day of February. But I'm not talking about either one of those things. I'm talking about our countdowns (well one specifically). We have 285 days until Thanksgiving. Not terrible. We have 260 days until November. Not too bad. But we now have 199 days until the Bers. Ok we MADE it to the 1s now for the Bers. We will now from here on out in this countdown have AT LEAST 1 of our counts in the "1s" (or dare I say even lower as in the "0s"). That's the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. How are you feeling about that? As happy as when you sit down to a turkey feast with stuffing, biscuits and gravy? It's a great way to celebrate if you want to with the 199 marker today. And it's really cool it fell on a Saturday. I noticed now in 10 days we will reach 250 days until November. That will be big to be halfway from 300 to 200 already for November. That will be another big one. Have a great Middle Day of February!

What a great way to start my Saturday morning-- COUNTDOWN TO THE BERS 2020: 199 DAYS

Makes a dreary Saturday February morning feel so much brighter, especially when Edge pointed out it is the Middle Day of February!

Have a great day!!!

It feels great to be under 200 days now until the ber's, and like you said, we will soon today go past the "halfway" mark of the month! Good stuff is coming up! One of my favorite months to pass in the annual countdown!

For years I felt like once we got past Valentine's Day you could start to see the light at the end of the winter tunnel. Not to say we won't see cold or snow possibly before spring but it just seems a lot closer now (spring) than it did 6 weeks ago when we were stuck in early January.

Wish we could get over 10°! Its been a couple of brutal days.

C. for me, but I am always happy to try them all. And straight homemade gives me heartburn too, CW, but it is so hard to pass it up when someone makes it!
I had a few relatives that made some absolute gorgeous homemade stuffing, even though I knew it was going to give me heartburn I still ate it up. I think it was probably the combinations of bread used in it

Perhaps it is the varieties of bread, in some I have suspected sausage, sage, or even Crisco--but all of them were delicious!!!
