• Operation Christmas Cheer
You know, your post just made me realize that in many ways this upcoming week, it is like our own mini version of the BERS. Rudolph Day Eve on Sunday, Rudolph Day on Monday, Tom Turkey Day on Thursday, and Jack O Lantern Day on Sunday to close out the month. We go through 3 "seasons" essentially in about a week!

Ha! I love that. Kind of like a reverse-Bers starting with Christmas and going backwards to Halloween.

Deuces are wild!!!
222 days until the Bers.

Happy Friday Turkey talkers! Glad the week is over and ready for doing nada (I hope). We have a winter storm watch going till 1pm tomorrow so a quick trip to the store and thats it for me.
I always loved prepping for a snow storm and having a reason to stay in, after a year of quarantining I hope I haven't lost that forever!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 306
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 282
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 221

Happy Wonderful Winter Weekend! It is a winter weekend and why is it wonderful? Well because it's a nice weekend in January to just chill out and relax. While you do that maybe you should read the following countdowns: 306 days till Thanksgiving, 282 days till November, and 221 days till The Bers. Moving along. We do have not 1 but 2 milestones NEXT WEEK folks. We have our 2nd Tom Turkey Day on Thursday and then the 300 Day Marker to Thanksgiving on Friday. I am not ready for either one so let's just hopefully enjoy this weekend first. That's almost too much excitement for me in one week. But it should be hopefully a good and quiet weekend here. Hope you all have a great one. All of us turkey lovers know the cold makes us want to open our ovens and cook a turkey. It's dreamy isn't it? Have a great Wonderful Winter Weekend!

We are eating a turkey as part of the Rudolph Day #1 celebration! I'm almost certain we will have some leftovers to enjoy on Tom Turkey Day!

Hard to believe how the milestones are rolling in, I like having the reminders to celebrate, in little ways, our journey back to the holidays. I wish I had some turkey noodle soup to enjoy today, but my leftovers all went to paninis this year.

Oh yeah that would sound good right about now turkey noodle soup!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 305
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 281
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 220

Happy January Sunday! It's a cold morning out but the sun should come out and less wind today so it shouldn't be too bad. Our 3 counts aren't bad at all when we look at them this morning: 305 days till Thanksgiving, 281 days till November, and 220 days till The Bers. All 3 counts don't look "bad" at all if you ask me. In fact they look great! Our next milestone will be on Thursday when we celebrate Tom Turkey Day #2 with a special poll. And Friday (the day after) we'll reach another milestone and that will be the 300 Day Marker to Thanksgiving. I think that might be the most important milestone in a way because when we get out of the "3s" counts honestly it's all not too bad anymore. Other than that I know most of you might have plans today to relax, watch some championship football or have some turkey soup? Maybe all 3. Whatever your plans are I hope that they go well. Have a great January Sunday!

@SolidSnake84 gave me a brilliant idea in the Christmas Countdown thread. I unfortunately have to work on Tom Turkey Day this week, but I could definitely get away with having a "Miracle on 34th Street" all-day marathon on in the background! Just put some headphones on and enjoy my Subway Turkey Club - it'll be the best Thursday I've had all month long.

Sounds like a good idea!

Happy Final Week of January! Yes this is a big week folks because it's the final week of January. Let's take a look at our countdowns to start this new week: 304 days till Thanksgiving, 280 days till November, and 219 days till The Bers. Now you see all 3 of those counts moving along. Our next milestone is Thursday when we reach Tom Turkey Day #2, followed by the next milestone on Friday when we reach the 300 Day Marker to Thanksgiving. Back to Back milestones later this week. It's Monday so you know I will give you the weekly countdown to Thanksgiving Week (the best week of the year). It is now at 43 weeks. Uh huh. Pretty amazing isn't it? Into the lower 40s of that countdown. I have been thinking quite a bit about that week. I am keeping that one close to me all year long. I hope you all are ready for another week turkey fans. Have a great Final Week of January!

Nice. How was it?
Turkey is always great no matter the reason! This was a cajun-spiced turkey breast from butterball. Our first time trying it. Everyone loved it, so I'm sure it will make an appearance again over the next few months. We have spiral ham dialed up for February Rudolph Day, so maybe turkey again in March or April?
