Thanksgiving 2021 Thread

Happy Bitter Cold Thursday everyone! Another quick shot of snow outside to round out the week for us. On a bright note..this weekend I have the Rolex 24 to watch which means racing season is close at hand.
Family, Food, Football, and then Parade. Football edged out the parade because growing up we were always on the road and missed the parade, but football dominated the rest of the day after the meal.
Yes it is here!
Bitter cold here CW...-6 below zero wind chill this morning. It hurts.
DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 300
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 276
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 215
Happy Sledding Through January! We are really heading downhill in January now folks. Let's look at how that affects our 3 countdowns. They are as follows: 300 days till Thanksgiving, 276 days till November, and 215 days till The Bers. I know yesterday was a milestone day but guess what folks? SO IS TODAY! We have reached the all important 300 Day Marker to Thanksgiving. Yes, today is the LAST time you'll see me post a "3s" count until....well until we have a new thread for Thanksgiving 2022 hopefully. Yeah believe that. That's just amazing isn't it? The 3's really is the "hard work" of the countdowns. Now folks thank you for your responses to the poll yesterday. Pretty awesome. A lot of agreement yesterday. Our next milestone is on the other side of the weekend when on Monday we reach the arrival of February (the start of the 3rd month out of 11 on the way back to the month of November). Enough excitement? Hope it keeps you warm. Have a great Sledding Through January!

Another day of snow but luckily Jan is almost wasted away. Now if only we could all get us a hot cup of steaming turkey gravy to enjoy! Lets drool over a few gravy pictures today.
WOW! 300 DAYS! We made it to a big milestone just today! I always think that EVERYTHING goes faster once you get out of the 300's. Tomorrow morning waking up to 299 is going to be amazing!
200's just sounds great...100's is even better but for now I will be happy with being under 300!
I love that we are going to hit the 200s before January is over! Loved having Tom Turkey Day to celebrate yesterday. What a difference the milestones make in keeping my spirits high!
Under 300 and still a long ways to travel, once spring is here I will feel better about it.

Happy Next to Last Day of January! It's bitter cold out this morning folks. But it's late January. What should I expect? Well I expect these 3 countdowns to have dropped by 1 since yesterday and they have. They are as follows: 299 days till Thanksgiving, 275 days till November, and 214 days till The Bers. If you check back to yesterday you'll see they all did drop indeed. Our next milestone is after the weekend is over (which we don't want that to be the case any time soon). That will be the arrival of February (which is the start of the 3rd month of 11 on our journey back to the wonderful most amazing month of November). That will be a shorter month of course. But we're in the thick of winter now so it feels like we just got to grin and bear it all. And enjoy everything we can each day. Have a great Next to Last Day of January!

299 is always a magic day. It feels great! Watch how quick the others go. I missed Halloween terribly when it was over, and look here we are, just hit 90 days today, to the halfway point. Same thing with my beloved Christmas. We will hit 300 days to Christmas next month. And spring really is just around the corner - 49 days!
