Definitely...we did not see my in-laws for Thanksgiving or Christmas...I am hoping for a more normal holiday season.

Same. My hope is that my entire family has the vaccine before Thanksgiving. It would be nice to have a big gathering again without having to worry as much about contracting or spreading Covid.

Happy February Sunday! It looks like we have a great day ahead here. It's Sunday after all. Let's look at our 3 counts. We have 277 days till Thanksgiving, 253 days till November, and 192 days till The Bers. Well you all know we have a BIG WEEK ahead and it starts on Monday with, as always, our Weekly Countdown to the BEST WEEK OF THE YEAR. Wait till you see what that is at tomorrow. And of course, our next 2 official milestones happen this week as we see Back to Back the 250 Day Marker to November & Tom Turkey Day #3 arriving on Wednesday and Thursday respectively. With a big week ahead I think we better all enjoy a low-key Sunday if possible. Sundays often feel like the day to slow down out of the 7 days of the week. Have a great February Sunday!

It was decided a couple of days ago that we will indeed be eating a turkey for our family Easter dinner. That's in 42 days! Exactly six weeks from Today!
Of course it will be Easter, but it will sure feel like Thanksgiving!

That's the plan here, too. In fact just yesterday I found a turkey platter on clearance, which was pretty timely. Now I'm just hoping turkeys are plentiful at Easter cuz they certainly aren't now.
I'm super excited about holidays this year. I can't wait for the family gatherings....the parties....missed so much of that this year.
I think we may make a turkey and a ham this year.
Oh yeah that will definitely have a Thanksgiving Feel!
And everything we're hearing is that things should be a lot "closer" to normal than last holiday season was.

Happy Final Week of February! This is the last week of it folks but you know what this week is? Do you? DO YOU? Well I'll tell you in a moment but first on to our 3 counts. We have 276 days till Thanksgiving, 252 days till November, and 191 days till The Bers. Ok so this week is a few things. The next 2 milestones will happen back to back on Wednesday & Thursday which will be the 250 Day Marker to November & Tom Turkey Day #3. That will be great indeed just 2 and 3 days away respectively. But it's Monday folks and here in the Thanksgiving Thread we get EXCITED on Mondays. Why? Because we countdown to the greatest week of the year (and we always say how THAT Monday feels like unlike any other of the year). That is the Weekly Countdown to Thanksgiving Week. It now is at 39 weeks folks. We're in the 30s! And we're 1/4 of the way to Thanksgiving Week. GEEZ! Already? Thankfully we still have 3/4 of the way to go. Have a great Final Week of February!
