I came across a recipe for leftover Thanksgiving that you put into cupcake pans. Looks like it would be a great way for the occassional way to get rid of big amounts. I have this happen at our Christmas/Thanksgiving dinner in July. Usually due to all the brisket and ribs I make.

You're always planning CW!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 329
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 305
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 244

Happy New Years Eve! It's the last day of the year folks. But it's far from being the last day of the counts here for us. We look ahead to 2021 but first we finish 2020 with these 3 countdowns: 329 days till Thanksgiving, 305 days till November, and 244 days till The Bers. Tomorrow folks is our next milestone. That's right we start off the new year with a milestone here and that will be starting off and welcoming January which will be our 2nd month of 11 on our way back to November. Bring it on and let's all have a fresh start and a fresh new year. It's Thursday folks so I will give you my bi-weekly poll here. Here you go:
In terms of eating on Thanksgiving 2020, which best describes your eating habits this year?
A.) I ate MORE than I usually do on Thanksgiving this year.
B.) I ate LESS than I usually do on Thanksgiving this year.
C.) I ate about the SAME that I usually do on Thanksgiving this year.
D.) I don't even remember cause I just eat and don't pay attention on Thanksgiving what I'm eating!

For me the answer is C. I always am pretty consistent so I didn't really eat LESS or MORE than I normally do on Thanksgiving. I ate a good amount for sure. But I wouldn't say I went beyond crazy. What about you? Have a great New Years Eve!

Oh yeah, "A" for sure. No doubt. Everything was so good I just couldn't help myself. The meal was so good that we essentially did the same spread a month later on Christmas dinner. And I hope we eat the same exact stuff this year for the holidays. Some people might find that boring, but I love my routines especially when it involves delicious holiday food.

Surprisingly, it's B for me, probably due to the fact that we didn't have a "traditional" Thanksgiving gathering with the whole family present. But I still feel like I ate my weight in baked mac and cheese.

I always eat less on Thanksgiving than I do on other days. By the time I have fixed everything, for some reason I am not really into eating--but leftovers, I love 'em.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 328
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 304
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 243

Happy New Year! It's a new year folks. But we have the same countdowns here. We have 328 days till Thanksgiving, 304 days till November, and 243 days till The Bers. They may only seem very minimally lower but you know what? We can now say THIS Thanksgiving instead of NEXT. It's a small thing but it just feels good to know we are in the calendar year of all of the 3 counts above that we're counting towards. Just feels fun and awesome. We have a milestone today as we welcome in January (our 2nd of 11 months back on our journey to the best month overall of the year which is November). Even though we have a milestone today guess what? The next one is only 4 days away. We will reach the 300 day marker to November. Pretty amazing isn't it? After that we will have more of our counts in the "2s" than the "3s". And so that just sounds awesome so early in the calendar year. Have a great and Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! The counts are amazing and I am glad to have so many milestones to look forward too, and I especially like seeing how far we have gotten on the Bers countdown! I am ready for the new counts and the new year! And I know I am a day late for the survey, but this year I ate about the same as I normally due, so I am in the C camp this week.

"C" for me. I always eat until it hurts. Sad I know. But it all tastes so good. I have no self control.
