DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 248
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 187

Happy Final Friday of February! We made it to almost the final home stretch of February here coming this weekend. And we made it to another day of counting down the following: 272 days till Thanksgiving, 248 days till November, and 187 days till The Bers. There we go. Next milestone? We have it on Monday as we reach the arrival of the 4th month (already) since November and that would be March. That's always a big start to a month as it starts to let us see spring ahead of us. But the holidays certainly have been in the rear view mirror now. It's ok though. Lots to look forward to. Thanks for answering that poll yesterday. Good job everyone. It was fun to read everyone's thoughts. Ahh well it's Friday so we made it to the edge of the weekend. Now we will try to get over it. Have a great Final Friday of February!

TGIF! Nothing like a Friday that has the end of a month as part of the weekend! I'm ready for March, ready for Spring, and back to doing things outside again!

I'm ready to kick February to the curb and usher in some warmer Spring weather. All y'all need it more than I do.

I'm late on answering yesterday's poll, but I'm going to dissent from the crowd just a little and vote for March. March has the least amount of stuff going on, and my daughter's Spring Break got moved last year from March to April, so it's the only month where she has no days out of school.

Nope. Nope nope nope. I don't need the warm weather at all. It's already going to be in the 80s here over the weekend! I didn't even get to enjoy the 70s. It's like we went from winter storm disaster to 80 degrees within a week! I seriously don't get this Texas weather.

The only upside to that? When the temps drop again, that means I'll be enjoying the Bers.

Happy Farewell to February! Well folks we made it to the last day of the shortest (but feels like the longest) month of the year. And we have 3 counts to talk about this morning as usual: 270 days till Thanksgiving, 246 days till November, and 185 days till The Bers. Our next milestone happens on Monday (that would be tomorrow) as we reach the arrival of March (the 4th month on our 11 month journey back to November). Pretty amazing isn't it? Well also on Monday you know we'll have our famous Weekly Countdown to the Best Week of the Year (Thanksgiving Week). Last week was a big milestone but every week really is here. Ahh well but let's enjoy our Sunday first folks. We all need to enjoy the 2nd half of our weekend before we can prepare for a Monday that's for sure. Have a great Farewell to February!

Six months sounds incredible, and it makes me feel like this is the time to start on so many projects... gardening, crafts, basement and garage clean-outs- and I would really like to start getting more daily steps in and eating better to maybe drop a few pounds so I can enjoy the treats I love to make throughout the Bers! Right now I am feeling optimistic, maybe that is the true gift of the eve of March 1st!

Well we have almost got through Feb. Next up is our rainy season. Lately our spring has been close to 4 days long. Seems like we lose our snow, we get nonstop rain, a few days of spring and straight into summer. Hope this year is different.

We did not have thanksgiving dinner this weekend. However, we will be celebrating pre Thanksgiving this Tuesday. I so look forward to the food and the family time as we eat together and just remember Thanksgivings past.

Happy Welcome To March! Ahh folks it's Monday. I love Mondays and this thread makes me love them more. First of all let's do our normal daily countdowns: 269 days till Thanksgiving, 245 days till November and 184 days till The Bers. Happy Milestone Day! We made it to March. It has arrived. And that means we're starting up the 4th of 11 months on our way back to the most wonderful month of November. But folks? Speaking of wonderful. Our weekly countdown to the Best Week of the Year (Thanksgiving Week) has now dropped to 38 today. From 52 down to 38. Pretty sweet if you ask me. Our next milestone believe it or not is actually a double milestone on the SAME DAY. What? Yes. Look at the chart if you don't believe me. On Saturday, March 20th we'll reach the 250 Day Marker to Thanksgiving & the arrival of Spring (as we begin the 2nd of 3 seasons on our way back to Autumn). Talk about a HUGE day that will be major having multiple milestones on the same day. Have a great Welcome To March!
