It has begun! The Great Turkey Thaw has began!
Yup mine is in the fridge getting ready for the big day.It has begun! The Great Turkey Thaw has began!
I'm praying for her.Thank you. It is like adding insult to injury because she feels so bad from the chemo. We are all so careful with all the preventive measures, but no matter how careful people are.....................................
My grandfather passed from congestive heart failure and it is not an easy way to go. Prayers for her. I am always extra careful. I went to a Christmas market on Saturday and even though it was outdoors, I was afraid it would crowded so I kept my mask on and avoided the crowded areas. There are so many variants out there that I really don't want to risk her catching another variety.I'm praying for her.
My SIL got Covid in August and it did permanent damage to her heart. She is 80 and already had asthma. She got it at the gym so she really wasn't being cautious but she was vaccinated and boosted. Now, I get a call a few days ago that she is in the hospital with congestive heart failure. They released her and now her daughter is here with her at least until after Thanksgiving. She'll need to be under the care of a cardiologist and pulmonologist.
To make matters worse, I visited again yesterday and noticed an apparent cognitive decline. I'm just so relieved my niece is here to help her.
I'm right there with you on taking extra precautions. My Dad died from COPD and it was horrible. My mother and I were his caregivers and it was a very long illness and brutal on both him and us.My grandfather passed from congestive heart failure and it is not an easy way to go. Prayers for her.
