DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 356
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 334
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 273

Happy December TGIF! Today folks we have 356 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 333 days until November (triple 3’s) and 272 days left until The Bers. Our next milestone will be on the 21st of the month. Yeah, that’s a whole lot of time between now and then. And I’m glad about it. It will be the Arrival Of Winter as we begin our 3- season journey back on our way to Autumn. For now we continue along in our Happy Holidays and very happily feel great about it. And that’s a great thing. I hope everyone has had a great week so far. Notice no theme today. I like it. Friday through Sunday a 3-day weekend break for us (we start our weekends early in this thread ha). It’s been fun though. And our first full week in this countdown is complete. In some ways it feels like Thanksgiving was months ago and in other ways it feels like 10 minutes ago. I can’t decide which one it feels more like. No matter what your plans are for the upcoming weekend I hope you make some time to stop by here and say Hi and check out our counts. Remember this is our free week (still 50 full weeks ahead before Thanksgiving week comes) and that continues right through the upcoming weekend. I hope you all are having a heck of a TGIF. And I am sure like me you need a break from turkey (or do you?). Hmmm I might look like a turkey if I eat anymore right now. Have a great December TGIF!

I'm ready for our first milestone! Because the first day of winter is my wife's birthday!

And the free week is nice before we start really going after the countdown in here. Is it too early to miss Thanksgiving? Because the truth is, I do.

Have a great Friday!

I miss Thanksgiving too. I love that we're firmly in the Christmas season, but there's no excitement like Thanksgiving Day, except for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 355
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 333
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 272

Happy December Weekend! Today folks we have 355 days remaining until Thanksgiving. We have 333 days remaining until November. And finally we have 272 days remaining until The Bers. Our next milestone will be the Arrival Of Winter and it will happen later this month (much later) as in 18 days from now. And the day after that folks we will have our first Tom Turkey Day of the year/thread. Back to Back milestones will come later in December folks. For now though we move ahead in our Happy Holidays feeling great. Christmas shopping? Christmas preparations? Christmas music and Christmas shows? I think they are all on the table this weekend. And I hope no matter what your plans are you have a great one. It’s been fun here in this thread so far with everything in front of us including a 50 week build from right now up until Coach’s Weekend where I hope to be able to talk back and forth with him all the way through Thanksgiving as we did this year. It was a lot of fun. CW had all his cranberry sauce this year. But he’s overstuffed with turkey. Aren’t we all? I think as much as I love turkey I’m ready to eat some other food. Is it too early to google the Macy’s Parade for 2023? Maybe J. But for people like us is it really? Not at all. I think they do plan it all year though. Something that big takes all year to get ready. Have a great December Weekend!

Three days into our first month on the way back! What a journey it will be!

Not going to lie guys, every year around the last week of December, I sort of feel like the folks in Lord of The Rings when they are setting off on the journey. What a trip it is, but soooooo worth it each year when we make it back to The Bers.

Let's Gooooo!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 354
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 332
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 271

Happy Early December! Today folks we have 354 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 332 days left until November and 271 days to go until The Bers. We’re eyeing much later in December 2 milestones on back to back days. They would be the Arrival Of Winter on the 21st and Tom Turkey Day #1 on the 22nd. Of course, being only on the 4th of the month gives us a heck of a lot of time to worry about those 2 milestones. Until then we continue along on our journey through our Happy Holidays time of year. Enjoying every step we take together and basking in the Christmas Season glow. And guess what brought this time of year folks. Guess? It wasn’t Halloween (as much as I love it). And it wasn’t even Christmas (that will bring winter). It was Thanksgiving. You see why I love Thanksgiving so much? Not only for the build TO it but AFTER it too. And oh yeah that day itself might just be the best day of the entire year overall. So there’s that too. Geez. No wonder we have a thread dedicated year-round to Thanksgiving. It is absolutely such a major day of the entire year and brings us everything (and has so much meaning to it). No matter what your plans are today I hope you all get to enjoy your day. You all deserve it. You’re all awesome and you all know that we love to gobble till we wobble on Thanksgiving. Love it. Have a great Early December!

We're having Sparkling ciders tonight with dinner. Those things always make me think of the holidays, no matter the time of year.

We always get the Martinelli's Sparkling Apple for Thanksgiving. Every year that is a family tradition!

I have two "baby bottles" of that in my fridge at this very moment. They're tiny 8.4 oz bottles that we found at Big Lots. Perfect single serving size!

They have other flavors too! This year I saw pear, grape, and Honeycrisp flavors!

Drinking these always makes it feel like the holidays. We are going to stock up on a few more for New Year's Eve as well.

We have a local orchard and market that sells in season only hard cider and a apple beer they brew. You have to be very quick and lucky to get any of their cans of beer. I always manage to get a case of the beer thxs to a lady that helps them. I wait till the house is quiet and crack open a can..its like a rush of autumn leaves blowing past you.

Plus those minis are perfect as a stocking stuffer.
