It's like the one day I want nothing changed...parade...Lions/Cowboys at home...turkey...Christmas shopping deals etc.100% Agree. Thanksgiving not being on a Thursday would be weird and would feel so dramatically different.
I'm so glad we don't have to worry about that, though!
I miss Thanksgiving too. I love that we're firmly in the Christmas season, but there's no excitement like Thanksgiving Day, except for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning.I'm ready for our first milestone! Because the first day of winter is my wife's birthday!
And the free week is nice before we start really going after the countdown in here. Is it too early to miss Thanksgiving? Because the truth is, I do.
Have a great Friday!
I was just wondering about that!Time to start looking for parade news for the 2023 Macy's parade!
Just joking... It's way too early.
We all miss it!I miss Thanksgiving too. I love that we're firmly in the Christmas season, but there's no excitement like Thanksgiving Day, except for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning.
Yup, for sure.We all miss it!
Woohoo!Three days into our first month on the way back! What a journey it will be!
Not going to lie guys, every year around the last week of December, I sort of feel like the folks in Lord of The Rings when they are setting off on the journey. What a trip it is, but soooooo worth it each year when we make it back to The Bers.
Let's Gooooo!
You secretly love it CW!I vote we skip the sweatfest this year!
I have two "baby bottles" of that in my fridge at this very moment. They're tiny 8.4 oz bottles that we found at Big Lots. Perfect single serving size! We're having Sparkling ciders tonight with dinner. Those things always make me think of the holidays, no matter the time of year.
We always get the Martinelli's Sparkling Apple for Thanksgiving. Every year that is a family tradition!
We have a local orchard and market that sells in season only hard cider and a apple beer they brew. You have to be very quick and lucky to get any of their cans of beer. I always manage to get a case of the beer thxs to a lady that helps them. I wait till the house is quiet and crack open a can..its like a rush of autumn leaves blowing past you. We're having Sparkling ciders tonight with dinner. They have other flavors too! This year I saw pear, grape, and Honeycrisp flavors!
Drinking these always makes it feel like the holidays. We are going to stock up on a few more for New Year's Eve as well.
