I say D too!!
Who knew the love of snow was a Southern thing?I'm borrowing Rich's answer and going with "A." Snow would be a welcome sight down here.
The darkness doesn't bother me, but it does make me sleepy. Nothing like a nap on a cold, dark winter day.
It bothers me when it hits after Halloween but then I adapt to it.D. Darkness really does not bother me.
Too much of a good thing would change that perspective!Who knew the love of snow was a Southern thing?![]()
So true.Too much of a good thing would change that perspective!
I've put up outdoor Christmas lights in shorts and a T-shirt quite a few times.Thanksgiving weather here in Texas can be a toss-up. You never know what you'll get. It could be in the sub-40s or it could be warm enough to wear shorts. The colder Thanksgivings always feel more Bers-y to me.
D. for me. The long nights can be cozy.DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 316
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 289
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 228
Happy 2nd Half Of January! Today folks we have 316 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 289 days left until November and 228 days to go until The Bers. Our next milestone will be in over a full week. It will be Tom Turkey Day #2. It will happen in 1 week + 1 day. We move along in our Winter Wonderland with everything looking and feeling like winter out there with our Weekly Wednesday Poll below!
What’s the least bad part about winter?
Snow Cold Wind Darkness What a positive poll today huh? Umm you know what I am going to go with D. I think part of it is I got used to the darkness in the latter stages of autumn (when it wasn’t so terribly cold) so I can deal with that at this point. Snow? I don’t need. Cold? It’s the worst. And wind? It makes the cold even worse this time of year. So there is my answer. What about you? Turkey friends enjoy the middle of your week. You are all awesome and thanks being here for our 3rd daily topic this week. Have a great 2nd Half Of January!
Normal for us would be in the 40s to near 50!Thanksgiving weather here in Texas can be a toss-up. You never know what you'll get. It could be in the sub-40s or it could be warm enough to wear shorts. The colder Thanksgivings always feel more Bers-y to me.
Me too!I take cold weather on Thanksgiving very personally. Black Friday? Fine. But I still want November to be Ber-ish, not bbbrrrrr.
