I hear ya!10 is about right these days. I miss the days when we'd have almost 30 people before the family split up and went their separate ways. It's inevitable, though, I guess. The kids grow up, move off, have families of their own and then start having their own Thanksgivings. I will be a wreck when this happens to my daughters, but I have already told my oldest that I'd make the drive to wherever she lives even if it's clear across the country!
20 is a big group!Normally we have 12 to 14 for Thanksgiving but last year we only had 8 as my SIL and her family stayed home. I am hoping this year they will be joining us again. A few times in the past we have close to 20.
My kids always come for Thanksgiving. When it is my daughter-in-law's turn to go to her parents, we eat earlier or later so they can do both--my son says his in-laws have weird food, LOL.10 is about right these days. Not like a turkey!Happy 1st Day of June! The counts seem so skinny!
Likewise!Gobble Gobble!
The best kind of feels! The Weekend Before Thanksgiving Feels are big today. I think it is a combination of the cool/cloudy morning, the countdowns, and the time to relax and let the topics of the past week sink in and enjoy. I am going to skip thinking about humidity for now and just relax and keep the T-giving Feels going.
