Happy Late March! Today folks we move along and see that we have 245 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 219 days left until November and 158 days to go until The Bers. We have reached a milestone friends which is Tom Turkey Day #4. As always we can count on Rich to gobble for us on Tom Turkey Day I am sure. Our next milestone will be when April Arrives and it’s on Tuesday. That ain’t no joke either. We move along in our Stress-Free Spring feeling good hopefully. And enjoying the early part of spring. Opening day in baseball for many today which brings me to my Thanksgiving Thought Thursday!

Baseball season begins today for most teams. Baseball is associated with spring and summer mostly however, spring training ironically takes place in the winter and the playoffs take place in the autumn. It takes up all 4 seasons, in some way. Football is mainly a fall sport. Although it has become a year-round sport too with all the offseason stuff that goes on. And the summer camps plus the winter playoffs. It’s hard to associate each sport with just one season but when it comes to Thanksgiving I associate it with Autumn as much as I associate Easter with spring.

A lot of times we associate different holidays, events, sports, etc. with a specific season. Sometimes it overlaps though. The best to you today my friends. Have a great Late March!​

Happy Tom Turkey Day! I like to watch movies on Tom Turkey Day that make me think of stuff that would play on Thanksgiving, so tonight I'm going to watch "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug"!

Happy Fantastic Friday! Today folks we move along and see that we have 244 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 218 days left until November and 157 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Stress-Free Spring with our next milestone arriving when the month of April Arrives. And that ain’t no joke. It’s Friday so time for our Fun Fact Friday below!

Let it go! The 2013 Disney animated musical "Frozen" earned $93 million domestically, making it the number one Thanksgiving release of all time.

Interesting. I know movies come out often on Christmas Day but never really thought much about Thanksgiving Day releases. Can you imagine being in a movie theater on Thanksgiving Day? I guess it does happen though if you aren’t a big celebration person of turkey day or maybe it’s a tradition to go see a movie before (or after) that big Thanksgiving meal. Anyway, turkey friends I hope you enjoyed today’s fact and that you are doing well. The best to you this Friday. It was great seeing baseball back yesterday for most teams. And it feels like legit spring now. All the great months ahead of us still too. Have a great Fantastic Friday!​

Happy Friday, folks! We make it to 70 degrees today, and it looks like we are finally back into warm weather as far as the forecast can go. Tomorrow as of this writing is supposed to be 85 degrees. That's not a typo. We might see almost 90 degrees in MARCH. That's kind of crazy. Have a great day!

There have been many Thanksgiving where DH's aunt and cousin go to the movies to watch a new release. A couple times our oldest went with them. They were always back well before dinner.

We are expecting to push close to 80 tomorrow so we will get the porch and deck cleaned and get the furniture all set up.

Unfortunately, it’s not a typo. Like I said over in the Bers thread, the lovebugs don’t lie. Our high next Friday is forecasted to be 91 degrees. So much for Spring…

I’d love to say this is an anomaly, but sadly this is commonplace down here.

Never really thought about going to the movies on Thanksgiving Day. I know that some people do, though. Otherwise there wouldn’t be Thanksgiving Day movie releases every year. Last year, Moana 2 was the “big” Thanksgiving Day release, but I just waited until it was available on Disney+. I’m glad I did, as it was just okay. Definitely not as good as the first one and not good enough to spend money to see in theaters.

If I’m being 100% honest, I’d much rather see the majority of movies from the comfort of my home. I’m not a huge fan of the movie theater experience at all.

Our theaters are pretty nice, plenty of room and recliner seats but there hasn't been anything I would want to see in the Theaters. I don't think there have been a lot of really good released lately but that could just be me.

I can't imagine being in a theater on Thanksgiving....but.....

we went on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving a couple of year ago....and it was perfect. Not a huge crowd, laid back, people in great spirits. It was a good time.

Tuesday is the only day I go to the movies...it's like less than half price!

I wouldn't want to be in a theater on Thanksgiving Day either. I want to be in my living room watching Miracle on 34th Street that day.
