I am A too. It is Thanksgiving currently but I think that could change again in the future easily.

Thanksgiving Day is my favorite one day holiday. Christmas Eve and Day are my top multiple day holiday and Christmas Season is my top holiday season. I will just call the Bers my favorite part of the year to finish off this list.
That just about sums it up.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 343
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 317
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 256

Happy Holiday Excitement! Today folks we move along and see that we have 343 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 317 days to go until November and 256 days left until The Bers. We move along in our Happy Holidays with a couple of exciting milestones coming next week. We have the 250-Day Marker arriving on Christmas Day. It will be in less than a week now. And the day after we have Tom Turkey Day #1. Big. Well, it’s Thursday folks and that means it is time for Thanksgiving Thought Thursday below!

One thing I cherish about Thanksgiving is how calm it feels compared to Christmas. Now maybe I should rephrase that, but you know how Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day both feel so utterly calm? Stay home with family, cook, eat, play games, and have fun? But the days in between those 2 days are the hectic part I guess huh. The beginning and the end of the holiday season are very calm, and the storm is in between.

One thing I joke about now about January is that when it comes, I look forward to the calmness of it. But when you think of Thanksgiving and Christmas you think about calmness. It’s the days in between that are hectic. Have a great Holiday Excitement!

This is the correct answer.

Thanksgiving Day has been “relaxed,” but not really “calm” for me. Between the cooking, dinner, traveling, and relatives, there’s not a lot of calm to be had, but it is a sort of controlled chaos, and it is a ton of fun. And I guess the evenings can be calm once everyone is back home, hunkered down on the couch and watching Christmas movies.

The big thing that I think Thanksgiving has over every other holiday is the fact that there is no "sadness" when it ends. When Halloween is over? A huge gut punch to those of us who love the Fall. But Thanksgiving you slide right into the comforting glow of Christmas season. Everyone knows what that cliff feels like that we are all going to fall off next week. I hate to even mention it!

Have a great Thursday, or "Mini Friday", as known in these parts!

True!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 342
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 316
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 255

Hapy Christmas TGIF! Today folks we move along and see that we have 342 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 316 days left until November, and 255 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Happy Holidays with our next milestone arriving on Christmas Day with the 250-Day Marker till The Bers. The very next day we’ll celebrate Tom Turkey Day #1. It’s time for our Fun Fact Friday my friends below!

The turkey's name comes from the country of Turkey, due to a mistaken identity. During the Ottoman Empire, guinea fowl were exported from East Africa to Europe via Turkey, and Europeans called the birds "turkey-cocks" or "turkey-hens"

Well, that’s interesting. I always thought it’d be cool to live in Turkey and think of Thanksgiving all year. But I didn’t know this fact today. I’m not very good with historical facts and such. But here on Fun Fact Friday I learn stuff sometimes. Educational and fun is what Fun Fact Friday is all about. Turkey friends I hope you are doing well on this Friday as we approach Christmas Weekend. Can you believe that? The best to you all day long. My last workday before Christmas break. I’m looking forward to it big time. Have a great Christmas TGIF!

Is anyone on here planning on having a Turkey again for Christmas? I'm not sure yet if we are. Turkey and Ham I feel like are Christmas staples, but could also easily be the main pieces of a Thanksgiving dinner. TGIF!

*raises hand*

We’re not actually cooking one ourselves, but some other family members are bringing one. BUT when we have our “Farewell to the Bers” dinner on New Year’s Eve, we’re having our Popeye’s Cajun Turkey. After that I probably won’t have turkey again until next Thanksgiving unless I decide to get fancy during one of our Tom Turkey Days.

Interesting! Makes you wonder what we’d be eating if they had been exported through a different country instead.

Yes we are having turkey and a ham...

We are. At first, Michelle said we would do a scaled-back version of the meal. I looked at everything we bought this week at the grocery and deduced we are having the full-blown version. I think she really, really loves me. We're even watching the Thanksgiving parade (DVR) from 9:00 - 12:00. This will be the Thanksgiving we didn't get this year. I CAN'T WAIT!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 341
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 315
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 254

Happy Christmas Weekend! Today folks we move along and see that we have 341 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 315 days to go until November, and 254 days left until The Bers. We move along in our Happy Holidays with our next 2 milestones back to back on Christmas Day (250-Day Marker till The Bers) and Boxing Day (Tom Turkey Day #1). We are in our Quiet Weekend Period now. I’m glad. But this weekend is anything but quiet out there isn’t it? Maybe the biggest Christmas shopping day of the year? I know for most of us it’s late but a lot of people go crazy the Saturday before Christmas. That’s what I have always heard at least. I do need to get some food items today. And I’m going to work on that and also keep wrapping. Of course, I have my usual laundry and stuff on a Saturday. But what a feeling. Christmas Weekend. The Weekend before Christmas. Kind of like the Weekend before Thanksgiving huh? Coach? They are both pretty awesome if you ask me. Turkey friends I hope you realize we are here because of US. Well not US but Thanksgiving. This is what has brought the most special days of the year to us. It all started with Thanksgiving. Turkey friends the best to you as you celebrate and enjoy. Have a great Christmas Weekend!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 340
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 314
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 253

Happy Christmas Eve Eve Eve! Today folks we move along and see that we have 340 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 314 days left until November and 253 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Happy Holidays with our next 2 milestones looming this coming week. We’ll have 250-Day Marker till The Bers on Christmas Day (in 3 days) and then the very next day we’ll have Tom Turkey Day #1 on Boxing Day. We move along in our 2nd half of our Quiet Weekend Period with lots of cold weather taking over now here. We had the snow on Friday and Saturday. But now we have the bitterly cold weather. Temps might feel like below 0 at some points today with the wind. Not pleasant at all but you know it is winter now officially so you have to expect some very cold days are in our present (and future). But turkey friends we had a rainy Thanksgiving this year. It did stop by mid-afternoon though. But I’d rather see a sunny Thanksgiving Day. Thanksgiving just feels like it should be a cool but sunny day. And not bitterly cold, rainy, or snowy. But hey I wasn’t sick this year so I’ll take it. And I hope my friend CW feels better. He has been getting sick the last few days and this is the last time of year you want that. Have a great Christmas Eve Eve Eve!
