Happy Latter February! Today folks we move along and see that we have 275 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 249 days to go until November and 188 days left until The Bers. We move along in our Winter Wonderland with our next milestone arriving on Thursday. It will be Tom Turkey Day #2. Looking forward to it. Aren’t you? Turkey friends it is Tuesday, so do you know what that means? It means that it’s Picture Day my friends. You know what to do, don’t you? Send in all your pictures of Fall and Thanksgiving. This week might feel a bit like Fall/Thanksgiving time. Hard to believe but finally it’s warming up out there. And it feels good. Comfortable and cool but not freezing cold anymore (for now). But eventually we will turn seasons, yet we stick in winter for several more weeks still officially. Turkey friends you know how you like to post those pictures on Tuesday so please help and post as much as you’d like to. I hope your week got off to a good start on Monday and then it continues in that direction on Tuesday. The best to you as you move along here feeling the best way that you can. A Thanksgiving / Fall Christmas Tree! Note: This is not my tree. But I've always wanted to do a tree like this. We have a "Halloween Tree", and a "Fall Pre-Season" tree, but usually by November, the little tree in the living room is turned over to 100% Christmas by that time! Maybe this year will be different! Have a great day!
I am so happy the temps are getting a bit warmer and yes they do feel a bit fallish for sure!
They will parade right down our street, hang out in our flower beds. They won't come up to us, will move if we get too close to them but otherwise, they like hanging around.
That's one thing I love about the upcoming few months is that they feel like fall kind of!

What’s one thing you’ll take from winter as a positive going forward through the year?
- I got tired of the cold so I will take all the heat we can get.
- I loved being inside and will try to have more low-key time even in the nice weather.
- I loved the holiday lights and plan to decorate more for (Easter, 4th of July etc.).
- I took nothing positive from winter.
- I’m going with B. Although I definitely could choose A and many of you may expect me to I’m saying the one thing I truly love about winter is the excuse to stay inside more. But I think I have come to value “Couch Time” each night and making time to rest even when life gets somewhat busy. What about you? Turkey friends the best to you today. Have a great Late February!
I think I can go with "B" this time around. I always feel a pressure to be busy and it feels like I am always doing chores here or working on something. It was nice to just have down time and lay around and relax. The weather is already breaking here which means my weekends will start getting busy again. And I will be glad for that, but it was a nice break!

B is the easy choice, since I’m an introvert. Being inside is my default state. So I’ll choose C instead. Lately I’ve been looking at those “permanent” year-round holiday lights. Several houses in our neighborhood have them installed, and I was thinking it’d be fun to have them too so that I could have St. Patrick’s Day lights, Easter lights, Memorial Day lights, etc.
The only downside is that when it comes time for Christmas, they don’t really have the timeless “look” of Christmas lights! And that bothers me. Maybe I just need to find the right ones.

Little of B and a little of C. I enjoy some down time and need to remember to take some down time during the busier times. Want to start decorating outside more for other holidays and the spring and summer seasons, some year around lights that you can change the color with the app on your phone or a remote.
I will say A. I am just tired of the cold. Unfortunately/ fortunately the last few mild winters have spoiled me. I think I can live with some heat now, but I will not be wishing for a blistering hot and humid summer. Lol. But the heat is not the enemy it used to be for me!

Happy Next To Last Day Of February! Today folks we move along and see that we have 273 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 247 days left until November, and 186 days to go until The Bers. We have reached a milestone friend and that would be Tom Turkey Day #3! Woohoo. Our next milestone will be the Arrival of March which will be on Saturday. That will be a big turning point in the year, won’t it? We move along in our Winter Wonderland with our Thanksgiving Thought Thursday below!
Today is a special day. We have reached the one quarter marker to Thanksgiving Day. The day that turns the year from normal to crazy with the hardcore holiday season beginning. What a day it is and that’s why we celebrate it here every single day. But the quarter marker makes me smile a little bit at what’s to come. It does feel like a long quarter to me but let’s try to make them all go slow (especially that 4th quarter which is The Bers).
One quarter down and three quarters to go. It’s still early but not quite as crazy early as it has been the last 3 months. Double the reason to celebrate today with Tom Turkey Day and the Quarter Marker till Thanksgiving. Have a great Next To Last Day Of February!
