Alright, everyone…10 days…you know what time it is:

10 days away....things are about to pick up...A LOT.
I'm not sure if I told everyone or not, but my brother had a bad health scare a couple of months ago. We are changing up the flow of Thanksgiving...and I'm ok with it.
We leave on Friday morning and depart for his home. We will go watch the Hogs on Friday night and then have Thanksgiving with him on Saturday. I plan on driving home Saturday night and going grocery shopping on Sunday. Everything will be a little more condensed, but I have been prepping since the middle of September.
I'm really excited. My brother and I haven't shared a Thanksgiving meal in over 10 years. It will be good to spend time together....even if for just a day or two.

Happy Nifty November! Today folks we move along and see that we have 9 days remaining until Thanksgiving. We move along in our Awesome Autumn with no other milestones available to us in this thread. It’s Tuesday folks so time for Picture Day. Make sure you send us all your pictures of the autumn season which we are currently in as well as pictures of Thanksgiving which we will approach next week and arrive at. Hard to believe Thanksgiving comes “next week.” Isn’t it? But it’s Tuesday friends and we have a lot of anticipation to go this week before Thanksgiving. Are you starting to feel it? I am starting to feel it. I really enjoy normalcy though and treasuring it while we still have it. Turkey friends I wish you well here on this Tuesday. And I hope your week got off to a good start on Monday. It's very busy at work this month but that is always the case and just kind of makes me really crave the enjoyment of Thanksgiving Break next week. You all know my favorite workday of the year is Thanksgiving Eve and we plan to continue our traditions of bringing in breakfast and leaving for half day. The best to you my turkey friends and I hope you get that November feeling that continues to build out there. Have a great Nifty November!

Closing in fast! I already bought our supply of Burn n Serves and a backup supply. I get high hopes to see them come out golden brown but reality soon rears its ugly head...lol! Cant believe it got here pretty quick this year.

What changes do you want to see to the 2026 Thanksgiving Thread?
- Replace the Weekly Countdown on Mondays (give idea if you want this).
- Replace the Picture Day on Tuesdays (give idea if you want this).
- Replace the Thanksgiving Thought Thursday on Thursdays (give ideas if you want this).
- Replace Fun Fact Friday on Fridays (give idea if you want this).
- Don’t change anything.
For me I’ll go with E. I like what we have here but if I had to choose one of the four above, I’d choose A. I think we could probably come up with something different. Maybe Thursday should be the weekly countdown to Thanksgiving instead of the Week on Mondays. And change up Monday topic to something else? Just my two cents. But yeah, I wouldn’t touch Picture Day, Poll Day of Fact Day. Have a great Nice November!
E - I like everything the way it is, BUT, if you are really considering changing anything about the weekly counts on Mondays, might I suggest you move that to Thursday since Thanksgiving will always be on a Thursday.

If you are running out of stuff like on Fridays maybe you could split it up for say 6 months..."Recipe" Friday and in 6 months go back to "Facts"? It gets tough trying to find new material.
That's the only thing I'm considering...but then what do we put on Mondays? How about links to Thanksgiving? Could be Youtube videos cutting a turkey, old parade clips, or whatever I can find related to Thanksgiving!?
