Trick r Treat...Countdown to Halloween 2020

I planned on going today, because ours was open, but i got too busy with everything! I will go tomorrow to see if i can spot anything similar!
Did you see any Christmas stuff there? Or just Fall / Halloween for now?

Mini Halloween today! I'm planning on doing a Friday the 13th marathon tonight. It is perfect weather for it too, with the lows getting down into the 40's tonight!! I'm gonna be burning the buttery pumpkin candle too, since replacements will be easy to find over the next couple of days / week.

Mini Halloween was perfect. Such a welcome addition to our routine. And doing it only on a month that has a "31st" makes it extra special, and sort of rare. The weather and everything was just perfect. Cool here today too, only 45 degrees outside right now and we will reach a high of around 70 today. I'll enjoy every minute of it, because I feel that we wont have days like this again for at least 3 months, which makes these types of "cheat days" even more special when they occur "out of season"!
I wish the kids would come to my house for trick-or-treating. I live on a very highly trafficated road. However, the kids do not come to our house. I wish we had sidewalks in my neighborhood. I like trick-or-treating, but my kids are too old for that stuff.
And we hit the big 100 days to Halloween milestone today:
Halloween has hit the shelves now at Michaels. Nothing from Hobby Lobby yet, but with July almost in the books, it should be any time now

100 days until Halloween is a big boost!
My 84-year old brother loves Halloween. He's disappointed that the community in which he lives (they moved to Florida permanently) doesn't have kids. He loved seeing their costumes.
I never dressed up as an adult......until he came to Winter here. He liked Florida so much he came in late September and stayed until May. Now he and his wife are permanent residents here.
I've been renaming my pictures to transfer them to iCloud and came across some Halloween pictures of my brother and me during the past 9 years he's been here.

100 days! I can hardly believe it. If there weren't a tropical depression bearing down on us this weekend, I'd probably be driving around town to see where Spirit Halloween has set up shop this year.
Our local Halloween store will open on August 1. You can get things from their web site now. Looks like they'll have another huge inventory again this year.
