I didn't get here yesterday to exclaim... "8 Weeks", I can't believe it! I am so excited. I am trying to buy a couple of extra items for Thanksgiving Week every time I am in a store or place a pick-up order. The pantry is starting to look like Thanksgiving!

September indeed has always seemed to be a "no pressure" month, even though it officially marks the return of so many things we hold near and dear to us - The Bers, NFL Football, First day of Fall, Hogwarts express departing the station, the list goes on and on. And I think its those kinds of thoughts that keep us "churning" so to speak when it's late January / February and the winter doldrums are starting to make an appearance. But no need to worry about that now! PLENTY of good time up ahead of us! Let's enjoy it all!

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 57
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 33

Happy Next To Last Day Of September! Today folks we look at our 2 countdowns and say wow they are moving nicely aren’t they? Maybe too nicely if you ask me. Let’s take a look and examine a bit closer. We have 57 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 33 days to go until November. Our next milestone is in 2 days when October Arrives and that will be the start of the 11th of 11 months on our journey back to November. I just can’t believe that but fortunately we have a FULL month (and one of the BEST) in front of us to enjoy on our journey back there. It’s an incredible time of year folks being in Autumn, late September and having all the great things we see in front of us still waiting for us. And they’re waiting patiently and we want to make them wait as long as we can. The longer they wait the better off we are and the more time we have to enjoy the ride. And we definitely have time to still enjoy plenty of it. As much as I love September and November many of you know I’m a true October guy. I bleed the black and orange for the month of Halloween so I definitely am looking forward to that coming. But before we get to that milestone you enjoy your Wednesday as much as you can ok? Have a great Next To Last Day Of September!​
 
Still a couple days left of the "Sweet Spot" to enjoy, folks! Now I know how @Edge612 felt trying to pump the breaks on summer, and here I am trying to pump the brakes on September! But like you said, Edge, we might as well enjoy the ride! We've got plenty of time left before Thanksgiving and lots to enjoy in the meanwhile.
 
I do think that I will be focusing on Halloween and Fall during October, but Thanksgiving will always be hovering in the back of my mind.

DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 32

Happy Final Day Of September! It’s a big one folks today with it being the last day of this wonderful Bers month known as September. The great thing is we have a great month in front of us but let’s first look at our counts. We have 56 days to go until Thanksgiving and 32 days left until November. Our next milestone is TOMORROW when we reach the Arrival of October and begin the final month on the road back to November. Unreal. We hope to have CW back here to do a video post for us. And let’s hope it’s a good one like always. I hope you are all doing well and having fun. And you’re just living the last day of the month of September the best way that you possibly can. It’s important to enjoy it. This is such a fantastic and dare I say overlooked month? I know we countdown to The Bers and get excited for September 1 but I feel sometimes some just focus on the other 3 Bers months. Almost like September is just a pre-show. But to me it’s such a great month. Such a great mixture of so many things I love. I’m thankful for it for sure. It’s awesome and one of the best of the entire year. Ok now all you turkey fans relax, have fun, enjoy your day. Be safe and I hope you’re all doing well. Have a great Final Day Of September!​

Oh yeah I was trying to cut the brake lines when we were back in July, but once we got into September and the month started off faster than I would have liked, it finally made sense to me. That being said I fully plan on attempting to "cut the brakes" next Summer again ;)

Its video Thursday again!! Everything "holiday" is in the stores here. We got lost in Lowes yesterday due to Christmas being put out. Naturally the only reason I stopped in wasnt in stock or to be found anywhere.
Enjoy the video...I actually havent seen this one in YEARS.

I forgot this existed! I don't think I've ever sat down and watched it all the way through. New goal for this weekend.
 
I am going to save the video for the weekend too! 8 weeks from the best Thursday of the year is so exciting and I am seeing the change in the stores too and I am not holding back, I hope to have the majority of my Thanksgiving shopping done by October 12th.

DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 31

Happy Welcome To October! We made it here folks to the 4th quarter of the year and a big milestone today. Let’s talk about it but first let’s get to our actual numbers in the countdown. We have 55 days until Thanksgiving (double nickels) and 31 days to go until November. Our milestone today is welcoming in the Arrival of October which is the start of the 11th and FINAL month on our 11-month journey back to November. We better hope October goes slower than September did. Our next milestone? Believe it or not folks it will be our “Final” “Final Fifty”. And yes that it will be to Thanksgiving in 5 days from now. That will be insane to even think about but it actually is coming here next week. I feel like we just said that to The Bers and now we’re saying it to Thanksgiving? That sounds crazy if you ask me. I hope you’re all doing well and hanging in there here late in the week and in a new month. And I know as we have arrived to October that all of you turkey fans just get a tiny bit more excited. I know. I can’t help it either but I’m an October guy so please let me bask in my orange and black glow for the next 31 days ok? I promise I’ll be on board after that J. But I know most of you love this entire time of year like I do. Let’s enjoy this wonderful month of October. Have a great Welcome To October!​
 
Hey I'm with you on trying to slow down October, I really am. But it's so hard! Knowing that Thanksgiving and Christmas are truly right around the corner! Crazy how time works! It has no problem crawling like a snail from late January to about April, but now that we are at "The Good Stuff" it wants to zoom away!
