DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 56
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 33

Happy Next To Last Day Of September! Today folks we have 56 days remaining until Thanksgiving and 33 days left until November. Our next milestone will see us welcome in the Arrival Of October. It will be a big arrival for sure and it will happen the day after tomorrow (some of us call it Saturday). But here we are moving along and you can see plainly we are 8 weeks from Thanksgiving. Figure 8. That’s hard to imagine. I know we do our weekly countdowns on Monday but when you see the numbers start to get into the single digits you almost start thinking about it on Thursdays too. Fortunately, 8 weeks is almost 2 full months of Bers Mania to enjoy. Here we move along in the Awesome Autumn having fun together and preparing ourselves for all the great things to come and all the great food to come too (you know like stuffing and gravy). And I know that some of us may have a warm-up meal like CW. Speaking of CW, hopefully he will come by today with a video for us. But for all of you turkey fans just realize we’re nearing the late part of September now. And we’re really getting serious. Things are getting very serious here. I hope you all enjoy it though. This is still an amazing time of year with an amazing month ahead of us (October). And I for one am looking forward to it big time. Have a great next To Last Day Of September!

Wow 8 weeks. Somewhere in these last few weeks, I have just been totally overwhelmed and amazed by how the counts are moving. I think it is because of everything we have going on, that has made this year fly by faster than I would like.

I'm hoping to have a firmer grasp on the wheel in October, and then obviously as we start adjusting to our new life with a baby. It's going to be crazy, but I will enjoy us trying to get settled into our new routine. I worry a lot. Holly, the oldest of 7 children, tells me all the time that she knows what she's doing! I trust her.

We sure are going to have a good Thanksgiving, since all menu options are on the table, with her no longer having to follow the Gestational Diabetes diet. We'll be allowed to "cheat" a little bit.

Have a great day!

BUT some people would take December over all other months so I thought some might choose Dec/Jan!
January is a cold killer. I just couldn't vote for it even though it was paired with December. But you were correct. If you would have had Nov/Dec as a choice, that would have been the unanimous pick. Great poll Edge!

Lol! It makes me smile that you think you will adjust. Normal will cease to exist, but you will gain a new normalcy of hectic. Just enjoy every single day because they slip by fast.

Nothing bests the joy of a new baby. Sometimes I miss those days. And as the oldest of 7, I am sure Holly is going to handle this like the old pro she is.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 55
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 32

Happy Farewell To September! Today folks we have 55 days till Thanksgiving (double nickels) and 32 days to go until November. Our next milestone will be TOMORROW so be here for it. And it will be the Arrival Of October. I can’t believe my favorite month of the year is almost here. And that’s no offense to November which I always say is the best overall month of the year. The way I word it read carefully the differences (and of course they are just my opinions). But the weather is great this time of year still. And yet we have everything coming in October. Baseball playoffs and even basketball/hockey come back. Autumn leaves turning. And of course a full month of Halloween. There’s really not much more you could ask for. And for us turkey fans living in the “Awesome Autumn” this year well we know where we are. And we know where we’re going. But we got the full month of October to enjoy here. So nothing to worry about right now. We can embrace October and start the 11th month since November (and the final one before it returns again). So keep gobbling and wobbling and doing your thing turkey fans. And enjoying the moments here today on the last day of the sweet spot of the year (September). Have a great Farewell to September!

I am a man of routines. The time will be only as bad as we allow it to be. We start the next part of our life in less than two weeks!

Farewell to September. Bittersweet. I have sort of the same vibe today as Christmas evening. But it's dampened by the fact that there is still the "Big 3" party months coming up. There won't be any "blahs" here now for quite a while. And there may not be any at all. We've got a pretty nifty plan going on over in "The Offseason Thread" to start planning for 2023 special days / activities that last week of December. That's usually a time just reserved for dealing with PCB's, but maybe, just maybe I have found a way to banish them for the most part!

Super excited now to be welcoming October tomorrow!
