Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good November Tuesday Morning! Hope everyone had a very Happy Halloween. Mine was good. I loved seeing the kids dressed up as I drove around where I work. One plus to working right near a bunch of schools is I get to see them every year dressed up. Had plenty of candy...maybe a sugar overload a bit? Plenty leftover and probably going to buy some discounted candy the next few weeks so that'll last me till Easter. Will have to give some of it away. Hope everyone has a great first day of NOVEMBER! Everything is straight in front of us now!

Merry November All! Only 23 days until Thanksgiving...yay! Just working today and going to get to the gym for a workout. Hope you all have a wonderful start to the month. I just put on my Christmas music to brighten my morning a bit.

Good morning MMC! Merry Tuesday!! Merry November! What a beautiful day it is going to be! We started out at 54º, heading to 78º! CRAZY weather for November 1!! Which I can't hardly believe it's Nov. 1!!

I had to take Gracie to the vet this morning for her urine culture! Poor girl had to hold it until about 8:45 this morning! She was a trooper! Now just hoping for good results in a week or so!! xx

I received an email today from Food Network with a Thanksgiving planner. So exciting!!

Last night I placed an LTD order for myself & 2 lake friends ... $180 later ... OOPS!

Morning Holiday. Sounds like interesting weather for the 1st. Here it is currently 44 degrees under partly cloudy skies. Sister-in-law just departed for St. Louis (leg 3 of her journey), so it is time to get to work before my afternoon sleep (have to work tonight at 10PM)

I am watching documentaries about the 3rd Reich.....this one in general is about the cult, the Nazis created about Hitler......and everytime I watch it and see it....I hope and pray...nobody like that will ever get power again in my country.....and I wonder how all of this could have happened.........so scary and crazy!!!!

It was a VERY scary time in the world ... it was by no means a foregone conclusion that the Allies would win. Thank heaven they did.

I'm at work but wanted to wish everyone Happy Halloween! Hope the kids (and kids at heart) are all enjoying the holiday.

Since the teeth I had ordered to make props for my toothfairy costume didn't arrive in time, I improvised and made the following accessories out of felt (bracelet, chain and wand).

I really enjoyed seeing people smile and laugh when they saw my costume. Got lots of compliments from customers too. But I can't wait to get out of this tulle skirt!

And that ends another successful Halloween. I think overall we handed out close to 1000 pieces of candy, mini bags of popcorn, pretzels and cheese balls. The kids and parents were great no problems or incidents. In other words... my kind of Halloween.
I hope everyone else had an evening that went as well or better. 3 hours and 13 minutes until November.

November 1st! Can't believe it ... so close to Thanksgiving now, and then Christmas will be here in a blink. And the season will be here in only 12 days?? Time to sync the Christmas music library!

Well Halloween is almost over and I have to say the excitement is building. The start of November brings my niece's birthday, my aunt's birthday, Thanksgiving, my mom's birthday, and finally, Christmas. I can't wait.

Good Morning/Afternoon christmas friends...Hope everyone had a spooktacular Halloween...its the start of another month again and closer too our fav holiday....I have just finished taking down the Halloween dec and gonna have some lunch then store it all away for another year And maybe take down some christmas decs when i am up their anyway...I sure miss Snowflake22 on the Countdown to christmas...Hope she pops in and says hello sometimes...WE MISS U SNOWFLAKE22...Enjoy your day ahead christmas friends

Good morning MMC! Can't believe November is here already! I have a couple of days off and finally some time to switch on my laptop for a while while the little one's still asleep.

How was everyone's Halloween? Since it's not very much celebrated in my country (it only started getting popular around 4 or 5 years back) only 3 kids came trick or treating to our house. It was an improvement actually since last year no one came. I still have a whole lot of candy so I hope some kids will turn up tonight (as they sometimes do )because otherwise I'll end up eating candy.

The weather finally turned much cooler after last weekend. Until Friday we still had Summer weather, people were still going to the beach and swim. The cool weather will bring the Christmas spirit in

Merry November!
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

I was not able to visit here much in the last few days so I hope you guys are well and had a great time.
We had a lovely Halloween. It was a pleasant, dry and foggy evening perfect for trick or treating. The children were exhausted when they came home and so were we! The fog got thicker and thicker as the night went on. It was the first evening fog of the season and fit well with the Halloween atmosphere.

Next up is Bonfire Night on November 05th. The Halloween atmosphere will continue till then.

It's a wonderful feeling knowing that we are now in November!
