Christmas Countdown - 2014

Good night to all! Hope everyonehad a wonderful day and stayed warm.

We bought a car. Not much "shopping" for me once away from my computer thankfully, because I can't stand shopping of any kind LOL. We wanted first gas economical, with great user ratings and solid engineering, with comfort for long drives and preferrably all wheel drive. I made my spreadsheet and compared. We then drove to the Subaru dealership, sat in the Impreza for about a minute and said, "Okay, where do we sign?" The salesman didn't even have time to give us his his whole spiel. LOL

The only others in that class were the Ford Focus which we rented for months and hated and the Chevy cruze which we rented and loved, but doesn't come in an all wheel drive. If the Impreza wasn't comfortable or built well we would have gone with the Cruze.

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be a warmer day here with a high of 30 degrees. We are also going to get some snow showers too because we don't already have enough out there. Oh well at least it's only going to be an inch or so. It sounds like the roads are still horrible out there too. So needless to say, people are getting a little impatient with the DPW here. Today is going to be another day of trying to get some stuff done around the apartment. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

Like I mentioned earlier we are supposed to reach a high of 30 degrees today. We are currently at 20 degrees. The sun is out and I decided to bundle up and walk the dogs. I haven't walked them in days because of the frigid temperatures. It's still a bit cold out there, by the time I got back home my nose had turned red

Not too much going on here. I'm heading out to run a few errands in a little while. Then back home to get some chores finished. I'm hoping to take it easy later this afternoon, I woke up extra early this morning and I am kind of dragging my feet. My daughter started a new job at Aldi this morning. She found out the store that she was working in at the outlets will be closing in a few months so she started to look for something new. She was hired by Aldi rather quickly, I hope she likes it!

Forgot to mention that I didn't see any Northern Lights last night. We had some clouds, and due to the houses in our neighborhood, I couldn't see the horizon (if they showed up, they would have been low in the sky). Oh, well.

I'm sorry you didn't see any, Merry! I checked the sky at midnight and then again at 2:30 am and I didn't see any, either.

Hey everybody!!!! School has started for Kandice again (she thinks that sucks....hahahaha) and all is going their regular ways.......only my cat thought she has to get sick.....she was trying to pee everywhere....You could tell she couldn´t really do it.......it turns out to be a bladderinfection....so now we drove to the vet who gave her some antibiotics that last for three weeks plus a pain killer so she can pee again.....cost me 30Euros.....I would have paid 100 if it made her feel better!!!!!

Praying Stripey is better soon! I hope that Kandice starts to enjoy being back to school!

I plan to rest a bit =] Can barely keep my eyes open. I also have a headache, so I think a nap is just what I need!

Headaches stink! I hope yours is gone and that the nap refreshed you!
