Good Morning, MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a decent day with a high in the mid 60's and just a slight chance of rain this afternoon. I was thinking of going out to the fall festival today but I have been recruited by my neighbors who are moving to help them load stuff into the moving truck. Then their son in law is going to help them unload since they are moving right across the street from them. If we get done early enough, I may still run out and get dinner but it will be packed then and hard to find parking. So we will see. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

[Holiday]

We are expecting some severe thunderstorms with winds up to 50 - 70 mph and large hail. We need the rain but we don't need the rest of that stuff along with it! It's moving into our direction now.

Good news, tomorrow the cold front will move in and will be in the lower 80's for the high!!! (Yes, that is our cold front!)

Good evening mmc! I am eating dinner at work, tortilla chips and diet dr pepper. I am glad tomorrow is Friday, Brandi is having me a "surprise" welcome back party I just found out about Sunday afternoon, I really really appreciate the effort now I just need to rehearse because I sure don't want her to find out.! We are having all sorts of food I hear so yall know I am loving that!

Today the weather is still beautiful, another front is passing through and bringing clouds and some rain, and the temps are going to start warming up during the day which is fine, I think daytime highs are still suppose to be in the upper 60's and lows in the 40's which is where they are, and I am awaiting the first flurries of the year. Last year it was early November and by late November there was a foot on the ground. Believe me it's so nice to put up the Christmas décor with snow falling! Have a great night everyone I will talk to yall tomorrow when it is Friday!!!!

Today is our (Germany´s ) National Day. Today 24 years East and West Germany finally reunited! Almost a year earlier the wall came down.....but on this day 24 years ago, the papers were signed and Germany became one again. I am so thankfull for this!

A good day to commemorate and celebrate!
In some ways it doesn't seem like it was that long ago.

Just got back from the children's school harvest morning at the local church. It was so lovely, really enjoyed it. They managed to collect quite a lot of food for the food bank which is great!

Hope you all have a nice weekend planned. Tomorrow I plan on putting out some Halloween decorations in the house and just relaxing.

Family game night later so should be fun!

Well, it nearly felt like summer had returned here yesterday, with our high moving back into the 80's.
Dry too, without the slightest threat of precipitation.
Could rain this evening, however, but the weekend should be pretty good.
We are at 65 degrees here, currently.

We have a place not to far away from us called Purgatory Chasm that looks very cool, JP went there with Cub Scouts while I worked on a Saturday last spring. That picture Snowflake posted reminded me of it a little.

I took the dogs out back a few minutes ago and I ended up walking in to a spider web. I hate that, now I have the heebie jeebies! I just tucked Molly & Maggie in to bed and I'm about to join them. My husband is hanging a new chandelier in our dining room and he's making a lot of noise, hopefully he'll wrap it up soon so I can fall asleep. He hasn't been working on the kitchen the past few weeks because he had to take care of some other things that came up but he should get back on track this weekend. He promised me he would have the backsplash done by Sunday. I'm going to shop for a window valance over the weekend and we also need to choose fabric to have the cushions made for the window seat. We're getting close to it being finished, I can not wait. Anyway, I hope everyone had a nice day. I'm so happy tomorrow's Friday! Enjoy the rest of the evening!

Busy day today ~ lots of rearranging and cleaning. I dreaded doing the job as I knew it would take me hours and would be rather messy. It took a little over 4 hours and it was well worth the effort. Got rid of two plus large bags of trash and have one bag of items to donate to Goodwill. Yay!

Painting is done!!! YAY!!! And I like it ~ double YAY! :???: My hubby cut the window out & cut the doorway in last night, so now I don't have to crawl through a window to get to our new room anymore! :???: Feels like it's getting closer to being done! YIPPEE!

It's not supposed to be a very nice weather weekend. It's rainy today - chance of rain tomorrow with a high of 49 & a low of 38 - windy all weekend too. But we are going to head to the lake. We'll watch the Buckeyes tomorrow & probably be hanging inside most of the weekend. Hubby will probably be doing some work at home - there is plenty to do b/f carpet comes on Thursday! (Trim, electric, ceiling fan...)

I have my Christmas Apple candle burning here at work. Smells pretty wonderful!
