The town where I live has it scheduled 4-6pm. I think part of the fun of trick or treating was going when it was dark out.
No schedules here...and 100% agree with you. Part of the special memories of being a kid is going out at night in the dark to trick or treat. It's just not the same doing it in the day light.
We had flurries 2 weeks ago, I love snow, I was actually born during a snowstorm.

2 DAYS!!!!
Good morning!!!! It's a warm day today - 74! Very weird! Going shopping with my grandmom this morning while the kids are at school. I am going to pick up some gifts and Christmas lights. Then we are taking Noel out to lunch after we get him from school, he will be so excited!
The weatherman last night said he was going to be putting up his lights outside next week because we have a few days of 70 degree temps. I think I'll do the same!! YAY!!

I have such a hard time with concentration problems, to always join in.
But I really enjoy hearing all the different stuff going on out in the world.

Please send up a prayer for my SIL if you don't mind. She is in ICU - they took her last night by squad then transferred her to a bigger hospital to have fluid drained from her heart. She was supposed to be moved to a regular floor today but they don't want to take the drain out b/c they are still getting fluid from around her heart. They got a liter last night, more overnight & 400 ml today. She has low sodium levels, low energy, no appetite. She has had breast cancer in the past & was supposed to have a surgery to remove an ovary a couple weeks ago before she started feeling so sick with a chest cold. They are running a lot of tests & her oncologist is involved. She is very sick. This is my brother who passed away in 2012 - his wife. She sure can use some prayers! Thanks friends!

Thank you so much , I appreciate it. The mornings and nights seem to be the worse with this cold. I am not feeling too bad and I am thankful I have an easy week especially with the children being off on mid term break. The weather is nasty out so I am glad not to have to be out. I hope we can all shake this bug off for good soon!
