No more Milestone markers between now and the beginning of the Season? How are we going to make it, Crown?! Even without the marker, I'm sure counting down will continue to fly by! We've turned the corner and the Christmas Season is oh-so-close in our sights!

Good morning, my home-stretched Christmas loving friends! What a glorious day it is! No more milestones for the season until we get there.....UNBELIEVABLE. It finally feels real. We are so there.
Plans for today include church and yard work. Temps will be in the upper 80's...but we are about to have a big change in the next few days...our temps will soon have highs in the low 60's and night in the mid 40's. Gotta go buy some firewood. Next Friday night looks like a fire and marshmallows. I'm already excited for next week.

Hello all 
Well, back for another season at this merry site. I can't help it, as soon as the weather gets chilly, and here in upper Michigan it's already chilly, and you can feel just a hint of The Season in the air, well it just makes sense to come back to this site!
I don't post a whole lot, but I really do like reading all of your posts. You truly are Christmas brothers and sisters-in-arms. We get each other, and we don't even know each other, how awesome is that??
Speaking of awesome, my daughter is due Nov 7, so this Christmas will be my first as a grandfather!
Can't wait!

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! Does anyone cook turkey in a slow cooker? How did it turn out?
Happy Milestone Day! Today at dinner my mom and aunt were already talking about the dinner menu for Thanksgiving. I can't believe how close it is getting. After dessert, some of my cousins and I played croquet. Carolina played also. She did a lot better this time than she has before. Just work tomorrow for me and then at night it will be laundry. My mom is off of school tomorrow for Columbus day so Carolina gets to stay with her. I think they may do some Fall baking. Hope everyone has a great night
I've never heard of anyone trying this... I am quite tempted to do so in the future!
Well, Thanksgiving dinner is over. What a delicious meal it was! It was really nice to spend time with the in-laws and indulge in many foods, especially the deserts! I hope everyone has been enjoying their weekend thus far. I really wish tomorrow wasn't my last day off. I have far too much to do!

Happy Columbus Day MMC! I almost forgot it was today. I work so it's not a holiday for me. Looks like we have a mild week ahead and even warm mid-week. Next weekend looks much chillier, even below normal, and it might finally be Autumn weather then. Have a great Columbus Day!
Working here as well, down to the 30s already in the evenings. Perhaps snow early this year

It’s goimg to be cloudy with a chance of a shower, and a high of 68 degrees. Not too much going on here. I have to run a couple of quick errands and then I’ll be working on the laundry. My two youngest both have off today so we’re going to grab lunch and watch the Islander game, they’re playing at 1:00pm. Hopefully the weather will clear up because I plan on grilling chicken and baby back ribs for dinner. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone has a nice day and a great week ahead!!!
