Good Morning Halloween Friends! Day #2 of the 3 day weekend is here! 3 days away now from JOL Day #4 , and closing in now on the 150 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN milestone!

I meant to get to Hobby Lobby yesterday for another round of Christmas Hunting, but it didn't happen. So I will go tomorrow, since they are open on that day. I'm really thinking I will see at least a Christmas SOMETHING out on the shelves, it's almost June!

Beginning tomorrow, I will start checking the weather weekly, looking at the temperatures, since The SweatFest will be officially here then. Already my local prediction shows a cooler than normal summer. By my count, we are just shy of 8 weeks of "SweatFest" before passing the peak hottest day and starting to begin our slide down as we approach August.

Another nice day today, a little cloudier than yesterday.

I spent some time the other day updating some of my Spotify playlists. Today I think I am going to add some more to my Halloween playlist. Currently it is 97 songs, but I know I can find more and different versions of some songs.

I meant to get to Hobby Lobby yesterday for another round of Christmas Hunting, but it didn't happen.

Our HL here in town still has not added anything since that first sighting on April 1st. I am so bummed. But I did see that the back room was absolutely jammed-packed with Christmas trees and Fall decorations.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! A new set of Halloween countdowns to check out this morning. Some counts are starting to look pretty skinny!

Just two days away from JOL Day #4 now, and we are closing in now on the 150 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN milestone. That is indeed our "last" count that seems to be holding on, the others seem to be running like water. I'm looking forward to some June dates which we will cover when we do our June preview on Wednesday, but the excitement stems from realizing that in June we will see only one count still be in triple digits!!

I'm making another HL run today and hopefully can share some pictures of Christmas items for sale. If I don't find anything today, I can officially say that this is the "latest" they have ever waited to put things out. "Latest" is almost a funny word because It is still only May, but such is the life of a 24/7 Christmas person!

Morning Halloween Fans! Well the road back to The Bers is officially starting now. Memorial Day links to Labor Day. I always look at it like 4th of July is that marker that holds the 2 together. Halloween fans enjoy your day. Have a great day!

Morning all!

This morning is nice and cool, almost like that of mid-September.

Went out in the garage last evening to start planning the garage overhaul. My wife counted the holiday storage bins to see what kind of shelving we need. She said there are over 30 bins or holiday decorations! While the majority are Christmas, Halloween does have several of its own!

I was reviewing our counts in this thread and our largest countdown is not that big. They will all be in the double digits before you know it.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! The 3 day weekend is now over. Will it make the week feel "fast", or will it go slow? The way I look at it, Monday is already in the books so I feel like the rest of the week only gets better from this point.

And then there was one! Just ONE day to go now until Jack O Lantern Day tomorrow. We will also be seeing the 150 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN milestone later this week, we will talk about that one when we do our "June Preview" which will be tomorrow.

Today is about recapping May. What a great May it was. I think most people on here feel like May is the real turning point in the year. We saw May bring us the mathematical halfway point to Halloween (Even though Halfway "Observed" was in April as part of Spooky Spring), as well as the true halfway point to Thanksgiving. Memorial Day weekend opened up "The Road" to The Bers, which we are now making our journey through. The month will close out tomorrow with JOL Day # 4.

My Tuesday Halloween thought today, ironically, is about pumpkins! I bought a bag of pumpkin seeds over the weekend that I plan on planting over the next few days. Just looking at the picture on the bag got me so excited. I think I've mentioned it before, but I think that the Pumpkin / Jack O Lantern might just be the "Mascot" of the Fall / Autumn season. It for sure is the Mascot of Jack O Lantern Day!

Yes, that is It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown cereal, and yes, it is real, and we're getting it this year.

My wife showed me this yesterday, and I just about couldn't control my giddiness. Not because of the cereal itself, but because we're finally at the time of year where this stuff is being announced. Before summer is even over we will see Fall items like this hit the shelves in August or even early July, and that's what has me giddy with excitement.

I planted Sugar Pie, Jack B' Little, Jack o' Lantern; Big Max, and Connecticut Field, I hope there will be something fun to report! Last year's crop was pretty disappointing!

Happy Jack O Lantern Day #4! We have cool temps outside - just low 50's, which will make for a beautiful, crisp drive to work. I think tonight I'm going to watch "Halloween H:20" and go against the grain a little bit, and watch "Christine"!

Today is the very last day of the month. To not take too much luster off our special JOL Day, I want to just do our brief June preview.

Aside from breaking the 200 Day Window to Christmas, as far as things go on the Fall countdown / Halloween countdown front, we will hit the 150 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN milestone on Friday, June 2nd! On June the 10th, we will hit the 100 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN SEASON milestone.

But the big one that a lot of people seem to be looking forward to is the Summer Solstice, coming our way on June 21st. That's the longest day of the year, folks, so you know what happens after that day is in the books. Finally, just two days later on June 23rd, we will see the 100 DAYS TO OCTOBER milestone. We will begin the latter part of June with two counts down in double digits, and the only triple digit count left will be Days to Halloween!
