We continue to inch closer to the 300 DAYS TO OCTOBER milestone, which will be a great way to cap off the week. That means beginning on Saturday, there will be only ONE remaining count that is in the 300's!
Today will be a little warmer than yesterday, reaching 42 degrees and Sunny. Three weeks from Christmas Eve today!!!

And I said it a million times last year, but the October count, and Days to Halloween, i want to keep those counts out ahead of us as far as possible.

I'm excited to tell you that we now have only ONE remaining count that is north of 300 days! That's part of the magic of Christmas Season, as I feel like these counts are moving effortlessly in the background while we enjoy the sights and sounds of Christmas Season.
I want to start daydreaming/planning about JOL Days and Spooky Spring, but that's still a few weeks away, I refuse to take any time during "prime December" to even daydream about that stuff, even though I do truly miss Halloween. Now when the last week/slog of December is here, let it rip!

Happy first Sunday of December, Pumpkin People!
We went to "Follow The Star" last night, a live nativity that our church puts on. We haven't been to church since two weeks before Holly was due to have C-section because we didn't want her to take the risk of catching a cold before we went into the hospital. We will all be returning to church as a family next month because my son will be 8 months old and he will be able to handle if he catches a cold from the other kids.
It dawned on me yesterday that we are starting to close in on what would be the 100 DAYS TO SPOOKY SPRING milestone. That's still over two weeks away, but the heart kind of flutters when I think about it. I like how we think about these things sort of in the "background".

Happy Tuesday, Pumpkin People! Cold outside right now. 14 degrees, and only getting to about 40 today. The kinds of temps we are having right now we usually don't get until January. I'm glad all the yard work in the back is done for now, I think it's too cold to even be outside with a jacket on for very long.

All the shopping is done. There isn't many remaining leaves to clean up in the backyard. So just time for relaxing and resting.

Hello Halloween Fans! I'm going to the Chinese Buffet tonight. Should be fun. We go maybe 5 times a year. I wouldn't want to go regularly but it's a fun nice treat from time to time and enjoy it. A cloudy day here but not as cold as it has been (closer to normal). Happy Halloween!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Mini Friday is here! Almost the weekend now and almost another wonderful December weekend.
I'm home from work for just this morning because our outside faucet on the front of the house won't stop dripping! I have the plumber coming this morning to fix it, then I'm going to work. I should have taken a picture of it, it had a giant icicle underneath it, I think the "big freeze" that we had a few nights ago might have taken it out. It always had a very slow drip, think one drip of water every several minutes, but now it is steady.
So we have the water cut off here overnight, I will turn it back on so Holly can shower and the bathrooms work, then turn it back off again when everyone is done and while I'm waiting for the plumber.
It seems like it's always something! Have a great day!
