Halloween 2026 Countdown!

Last night my wife and I went to have dinner at Cracker Barrel, and they had their Fall and Halloween stuff out, as Jamie Oliver would say, “full whack.” LOTS of awesome stuff, especially if you’re a fan of Charlie Brown and the Great Pumpkin. I wish I’d taken some pictures, but my stomach was in control and we quickly headed to a table.

Crazy how fast things are moving. As with everyone else, I am seeing Halloween and Fall stuff popping up in stores.
Now begins that situation where you want time to both go fast and slow. I want to keep holding on to the summer and the buildup to the Fall. But at the same time I want to hurry and get to the Fall.

Good Morning Halloween Friends. Happy Tuesday to you. Just want to first say that it is SURREAL to finally see The Bers count under 50 days. And we are in single digits now on the way down to the 100 Days to Halloween milestone. That's the very last triple digit count in this thread, and we are going to lose it before this month is over.

THIS GUY was waiting for me when I went to Lowes. FINALLY Halloween stuff is out there, and I noted that Costco has Halloween costumes in their clothing section. In all honesty folks, Walmart / Target, and CVS are the last stores that I haven't seen any Halloween merchandise at, and no Halloween candy yet. But last year, CVS had Halloween candy by the end of July. That's not far away!

Hello Halloween Fans! I hope you are doing well. It's my last workday of the week and it's going to be nuts. I have so much to do. It's never really a great time to take off but it's been tough with the new system we started using Friday. Happy Halloween!

I saw the same thing Sunday when I was there. I was hoping to find more than that. Oh well, It'll all be out soon.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Hump Day to all of you! There's really something awesome about Wednesdays, aren't there?

We move along in our counts today and can see that we are coming up on just over TWO WEEKS to go until JOL Day #6, which is another turning point on JOL Days, as this upcoming one serves to bridge the gap between Summer and Fall(Preseason). Hard to not call it Augtober now after that great suggestion by Google Gemini.

And take a long look at our final count that is in triple digits, as tomorrow will signify that we will be only ONE WEEK from seeing the final 100 Day Milestone in this thread.

Pumpkin People, I hope you are well today and looking forward to the weekend, I am!

I did go to CVS, but no Halloween candy in sight. They were clearancing their summer items, though…so maybe soon? I’m hoping that I’m able to pick up some Reese’s pumpkins before the end of the month.

Me too. This heat is helping to remind me we aren't quite there yet and to enjoy the anticipation. I thought I was ahead of the curve starting my enjoyment in August (Augtober), but there is so much stuff out there now it's hard to avoid it. I'm still holding out though. 2.5 weeks and I can start my slow roll of casual celebration before the 'Bers hit. As much as I hate this heat and humidity, that fall reward is going to be that much better when it gets here.

Good Morning Pumpkin People! It's Thursday, the last obstacle that is standing in the way of arriving to another glorious weekend! Today is also a reminder that when looking at the counts, we are now officially ONE WEEK from 100 DAYS TO HALLOWEEN, and also the very final time in this 2026 Thread that we will have a 100 day milestone!

Yesterday was HOT, it got to 97 degrees. But something amazing happened. After around 6 - 7 o clock, you could really feel the heat going down. I went outside last night and watered the raised beds at about 8:30 and it was only in the 80's, and it felt wonderful. It really made me think of how it will feel next month when we reliably return to those cooler evenings again. There's two nights next week that are supposed to hit 60 degrees overnight. You know what I'm saying. That's ALMOST peak Fall-Preseason weather. Warm days and cool nights. Not so terribly different from Spring.

Today gets to 94, but it is short lived, as a cool front moves in as we are expected to get more rain over the weekend. Several days next week are just down in the 70's! That's amazing! A perfect rainy weekend to maybe visit some stores to see the progression of Fall / Halloween items, and just relax in the house and daydream of the coming BERS. FYI, the 50 Day preview has been awesome so far.

Good Morning Pumpkin People! Happy Friday to you all! The weekend is finally here.

You can see on our counts above that its just TWO WEEKS until JOL Day #6, a true turning point as that JOL Day leads us straight into Augtober, Fall Preseason! I'm excited seeing pics shared of Code Oranges, as well as the daily questions from Abigale on if today is Candy Corn time.

Our "mini heatwave" is over here, and I'm looking forward to enjoying a cooler weekend as well as the rains that are supposed to come. I got all of my lawn work done last night and I'm using this last weekend before the tractor show to get 100% ready. Who knows, I might even find ANOTHER old tractor to bring home and fix up. I've always wanted to do an old antique Wheel Horse.

Hello Halloween Fans! I hope you are doing well. It's a beautiful day out there. Not as hot as it has been and a lot of sunshine so it feels good. I know we are in the deep parts of summer now right smack in the middle almost it feels like this time of year. Happy Halloween!
