Halloween 2026 Countdown!

I want the days to slow down, but the cooler weather to hurry up.
We started at 71 degrees this morning, and when I got to work, it was 70. Walking into the office from the parking lot, I could feel a faint coolness in the air. The forecast says things will cool down into the 60s in a week. I really hope so.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Hump Day! It's Wednesday again here. Everyone knows how much I love Wednesdays.
We're under a week now until the official start of Spooky Season gets here, and we are exactly TWO WEEKS from our FINAL Jack O Lantern Day of 2026. Feels just the tiniest bit sad to write that. I like to think back to how things felt when we were coming out of the darkest part of winter and those first batch of MMC Special Days were our reward, and sort of sat us on our paths to where we are today. The bookends of JOL Day #1 in January, and #8 here in September.
Yesterday was the first day here since April or May that we opened up all of the windows in the house. The breeze coming through felt amazing! I know we are not totally "done" with hot days, but I would have to think now the majority of the days from this point are going to be cooler. I don't see a single overnight temp that is warm either.

Heck yes! One week until Spooky Season! I hope that’s also one week until it actually feels like Fall outside. I’m having trouble shaking off summer, no thanks to the weather.

Plus, It's probably going to be a 12 hour day so I'm looking forward to having that 4 hours of overtime on my check next week!

Good Morning Pumpkin People! Happy Friday! We had a big rain storm yesterday, dumping almost a half an inch of rain here. The grass is so lush and green, and it's growing like crazy. I bet we mow until Thanksgiving this year.
Just a few days to go until Spooky Season! We are now heading into the final weekend of Summer. I know that seems hard to believe, but it's here in front of us. And It's our job to make the most of it!

Hello Halloween Fans! I hope you are doing well. It's Friday. What a week. I feel like that every single Friday I think but this week feels even more crazy for some reason. But I'm ready for Autumn to arrive and The Sunday Group to kick it off this weekend. Happy Halloween!
