Hello Halloween Fans! I hope you are doing well. It's a beautiful day again here. I'm enjoying it. Woke up to 52 degrees. A cool start but you start getting used to those mornings this time of year as we approach autumn. Happy Halloween!

Good Morning Pumpkin People! It's gotta be said. ONE WEEK from today we will be officially in Spooky Season 2026. It's 52 degrees outside and is the coolest morning we have had here in a while, maybe since Spooky Spring.

My short week continues at work, at some point today I'm going to look up and realize that tomorrow is Wednesday. It's the best feeling.

And today we are officially HALF WAY through the month of September. I don't even want to hardly mention it. I think THE BERS have been moving at a fair and steady pace. Not too fast, but not as slow as I would like.

I hope everyone has a great Tuesday!
I want the days to slow down, but the cooler weather to hurry up.

We started at 71 degrees this morning, and when I got to work, it was 70. Walking into the office from the parking lot, I could feel a faint coolness in the air. The forecast says things will cool down into the 60s in a week. I really hope so.

Good Morning Halloween Friends! Happy Hump Day! It's Wednesday again here. Everyone knows how much I love Wednesdays.

We're under a week now until the official start of Spooky Season gets here, and we are exactly TWO WEEKS from our FINAL Jack O Lantern Day of 2026. Feels just the tiniest bit sad to write that. I like to think back to how things felt when we were coming out of the darkest part of winter and those first batch of MMC Special Days were our reward, and sort of sat us on our paths to where we are today. The bookends of JOL Day #1 in January, and #8 here in September.

Yesterday was the first day here since April or May that we opened up all of the windows in the house. The breeze coming through felt amazing! I know we are not totally "done" with hot days, but I would have to think now the majority of the days from this point are going to be cooler. I don't see a single overnight temp that is warm either.

Pumpkin friends, I hope you are well! Have a great Wednesday!

Hello Halloween Fans! I hope you are doing well. It's a Wednesday and we had our annual BBQ at work today. It's always fun. Not on the level of the Christmas Party but I'm glad we do have it each year. Good leftovers too. Happy Halloween!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! I'm up early today because my Boss and I are traveling to Spotsylvania for our Fall District Meeting. I've never been to one before, so I am excited. Plus, It's probably going to be a 12 hour day so I'm looking forward to having that 4 hours of overtime on my check next week!

Pumpkin Friends, we're almost back to Spooky Season, when we do this, this time next week, we will be getting ready to enter into the 1st FALL WEEKEND of 2026. What an amazing place to be. Friends, I hope you are well today. Happy Mini Friday to you all!

Good Morning Pumpkin People! Happy Friday! We had a big rain storm yesterday, dumping almost a half an inch of rain here. The grass is so lush and green, and it's growing like crazy. I bet we mow until Thanksgiving this year.

Just a few days to go until Spooky Season! We are now heading into the final weekend of Summer. I know that seems hard to believe, but it's here in front of us. And It's our job to make the most of it!

Halloween Friends I hope you are well today. Have a great day!

Hello Halloween Fans! I hope you are doing well. It's Friday. What a week. I feel like that every single Friday I think but this week feels even more crazy for some reason. But I'm ready for Autumn to arrive and The Sunday Group to kick it off this weekend. Happy Halloween!

Good Morning Halloween Friends! The Final weekend of Summer is upon us. Didn't we technically say goodbye to Summer after Labor Day? I told Summer goodbye after July 4th, lol.

I always like thinking back to how things started off versus how things are going. When Memorial Day came this year, we were celebrating my Son turning one year old and also gearing up for Holly's surgery a month later. So once again going into summer, we were at a place of healing / recovery, and trying to get "back to normal". And now that Autumn is quite literally upon us, It's again going to be a year for me to use Autumn as that celebration / reflection / reward period just like in years past. The Bers / Autumn is kind of everyone's reward, isn't it?

I am truly excited for Trick or Treating this year with having two kids to take out. Abby asks about it almost every week.

On our counts, we are going to see single digits this week in ALL of our counts except for our Halloween Count. I even think "THE" Count is going to show up as we get down on the goal line towards Spooky Season being here.

Halloween friends I hope you are well and I hope I don't bore you with my reflection / remembering posts. Have a great day!

Hello Halloween Fans! I hope you are doing well. Just a busy Saturday running errands, doing laundry, cleaning up and also doing some yard work. Not the most fun but definitely a productive Saturday. And then a relaxing night. Happy Halloween!

Good Morning Pumpkin People! Late start this morning. We all slept in last night. Unfortunately I have missed church again and Holly and I both agreed that we need to get back "on track" for Sunday church.

Folks, we are in the final hours of Summer now. It's a major turning point. I love talking about / mentioning the "turning points" that we observe through the year. We'll probably talk about them more in length in this thread during the "Halloween Offseason".

It's a big week coming, friends. We're going to lose a main count and enter into single digits on two out of the three counts. I'm glad you're all here for the ride! Have a great Sunday!

Yesterday, when we were out and about, Michelle played my Halloween playlist for the drive home. You gotta love it!

It hasn't "hit" me yet, but I'm sure it will once the pumpkins inside go away and the new week begins. It's an odd feeling, because nobody for the most part is unhappy during Christmas season, but I do kind of miss it in the bathrooms. I'm so fortunate for the special days here. I think if there was just a "hard stop" at the end of December, i would be absolutely miserable.

You guys know I like to "reminisce" across the threads, especially when we are starting / ending a time / season, etc..

I was talking about the Halloween afterglow on November 1st, 2025, and I have no idea what thought I was attempting to convey when I said I kind of miss it in the bathrooms. I really honestly have no idea! I know I was typing and likely got distracted. But I have no idea.

This is my own version of "covfefe". LOL!

Hello Halloween Fans! I hope you are doing well. It's time for the Sunday Group to kick off our 8 Sundays of Autumn Activities. We grew it from 4 to 5 to 6 to 7 to finally 8 last year and it continues this year and hopefully for years going forward. Happy Halloween!

Good afternoon Halloween Fans!

Today is another very warm and muggy day, but starting tomorrow we are getting a lot cooler. I am so excited for some cooler weather!

Not much going on today other than the usual Sunday stuff. About to watch my Browns lose yet again. It is going to be a long season for them.
Beyond that, it is a typical Fall Sunday. Some rain is supposed to move in later this evening and after that the cool air will settle in.

Everyone have a wonderful Sunday!

Good Morning Pumpkin People! As promised, THE Count himself has arrived for the very final full day of summer. ONE day is all that is remaining until SPOOKY SEASON is here!

Single Digits now as well to the very FINAL JOL Day of 2026. And Tomorrow, we will reach single digits on our "Days to October" Count, as well as enter into the 30's on our "Days to Halloween Count".

Folks, you've heard me say a million times that I have tried to keep the October counts out ahead of me for as long as possible. And It's true. It's a big turning point this week with Summer "officially" gone and Fall setting up shop. My advice to everyone is enjoy every day and try and get the most out of it.

Have a great final full day of Summer!
