Thanks!

Thanks!
Thanks for sharing! I was thinking I would save it for the next Rudolph Day but I may not be able to wait- I love wild rice!
There's a variation on this recipe online where you can slice some pockets into the turkey breast and stuff the wild rice dressing in those before cooking. We didn't try it this time, but I imagine it would be delicious! Thanks for sharing! I was thinking I would save it for the next Rudolph Day but I may not be able to wait- I love wild rice!
Thanks for the tips! I feel like my slow cooker runs hot, even on low, so I will be sure to keep an eye on it.There's a variation on this recipe online where you can slice some pockets into the turkey breast and stuff the wild rice dressing in those before cooking. Also, watch everything closely. My wife and I thought that 8-9 hours seemed a bit too long, so we switched our slow cooker over to the "warm" setting around the six-hour mark. Glad we did because the onions had essentially cooked down to nothing by that point (or maybe we just chopped them too small). You can add a tiny amount of broth at the bottom of the slow cooker if you are concerned about the turkey drying out.
Enjoy your day off!I used to take a vacation day every year on the day after the Super Bowl. My co-workers assumed it was because I was hungover which was never the case. In reality I took the day because I was mildly depressed that "my" time of year was essentially over, and I didn't feel like working. So I'd take the day to process that and move on.
Before I discovered MMC and even the r/Christmas subreddit, the Super Bowl always closed out the August - January period that I love so much. The rest of the year used to seem blah in comparison. Now that I've got countdowns, milestones, Christmas Hunting, Rudolph/Tom Turkey/Jack o' Lantern Days, Leon Day, Christmas in July, and so much more to look forward to, I don't need that day off anymore.
So do I!Thanks for sharing! I was thinking I would save it for the next Rudolph Day but I may not be able to wait- I love wild rice!
Our production plant schedules the Monday after the Superbowl off each year. It's hard to run an assembly line with 20% of the people missing. So instead they work four 10 hour days Tues-Fri. Office personnel still work our normal schedule.I used to take a vacation day every year on the day after the Super Bowl. My co-workers assumed it was because I was hungover which was never the case. I think that is awesome that they schedule the day off and adjust the rest of the week! Flexibility in time and scheduling certainly contribute to good morale! Our production plant schedules the Monday after the Superbowl off each year. Yes!Almost 200 days until The Bers? I better get that BERS tribute slideshow finished up!
Yeah still too far away but that's a good thing. I want to enjoy a spring and summer before we go back to Autumn!200 days till the Bers this Saturday, and then the 40 week milestone to Thanksgiving next Monday...those are some great numbers! Still a little too far away for my liking, but I will enjoy the ride until then!
