Thanksgiving 2021 Thread

I'm gonna say "C" or "D" if you count Turkey Breasts as well. Always a turkey on Thanksgiving, but then we generally cook a turkey in January, over the spring to celebrate "Halfway Thanksgiving", and then when you count the turkey breasts for things like Turkey gumbo, etc....
 
I select B. We have a few practice Thanksgiving dinners before the big turkey day. I am looking forward to a nice, normal, family gathering this year. I do miss seeing my close family during the holidays. However, this Thanksgiving will be extra special.

Happy Dozen Days of February! We are in the grips of winter and have been there this month of February. But we're also in the grips of 3 very important counts. They are the following: 286 days till Thanksgiving, 262 days till November, and 201 days till The Bers. Tomorrow folks (Saturday) we'll reach our all important 200 Day Marker to The Bers. That will be a big milestone! Almost makes you wonder how far away can spring be if The Bers count is heading towards the 1's. And this milestone will happen on a weekend which makes it even better. I love weekend milestones. Looking forward to my weekend. And thank you to everyone who participated in yesterday's poll. I enjoy reading each of your answers. Talking turkey in the poll certainly made this guy a bit hungry. Have a great Dozen Days of February!​

36 days my friend! But I think we will see fair weather before that. My personal prediction says that by the end of this month, we will see a dramatic change in the weather. March will still have some ugly spots, but by and large we are marching toward good weather!

Happy Wintery February! It's been quite a winter here so far folks. February has been a cold and snowy month. We countdown to other times of the year that aren't quite as wintery thankfully. They are the following counts: 287 days till Thanksgiving, 263 days till November, and 202 days till The Bers. Our next milestone is only in 2 days from now and that will be the 200 Day Marker to The Bers. Who is looking forward to that huge marker? It's going to be a big one. And then our first ever "1s" count this weekend. How much more exciting can it get? Well folks I'm going to give our bi-weekly poll now on Thursdays. Here is today's:
How many turkeys do you cook a year (including Thanksgiving Day)
A.) 1 (only on Thanksgiving!)

D.) More than 5
For me it's B. We cook 1 on Thanksgiving of course. And then we cook maybe 1 or 2 during the year as an off-season celebration. What about you? Have a great Wintery February!​

For my extended family gatherings I have cooked two the years it is my turn to bring the turkey, but on a regular year I am an A, with an occasional turkey breast in the Crock Pot in late winter/early spring to add to the mix!

Happy February Teens! Folks it's Saturday and guess what? We have a big milestone today folks. We have reached the 200 Day Marker to The Bers! Can you believe that? Tomorrow we'll see our first ever "1s" count in this thread. Oh sorry I got so excited I announced the milestone before I even said the official counts. Silly me. Here they are: 285 days till Thanksgiving, 261 days till November, and 200 days till The Bers. Is that proof enough of our milestone I jumped at earlier? I think so. You see the 200. And guess what folks? We have back to back milestones up next. In 11 days we'll reach the 250 Day Marker to November followed by Tom Turkey Day #3 the very next day. How great is that? This is not the first time we had back to back milestones. And we'll celebrate that Tom Turkey Day with another special poll. Have a great February Teens!​
 
"200 Day Marker to The Bers!" Crazy...kooky. I don't believe it. Yet there it is. 200 days? That's like only two weeks away I think. We'll think back on this "200 Day Marker to The Bers!" post and it'll seem like yesterday. Or would that be seems like today? hmmm...

I know what you mean. Luckily 200 days is a little more than 2 weeks though :).
