Evening everyone. We had a little bit of all winter weather available today. Scored some whole chickens tonite at the store to make halves out of for grilling later this week. Got Subway coming for dinner which is going to be a turkey club.

DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 303
DAYS TILL NOVEMBER: 279
DAYS TILL THE BERS: 218
Happy Winter Doldrums! We had some cold and windy weather on the weekend. We have a little bit of snow possible today. And then we have even colder weather next weekend being forecast. We really are in the winter doldrums now. But that's ok because these 3 counts will make you smile through the winter. We have 303 days till Thanksgiving, 279 days till November, and 218 days till The Bers. What's better is that in 2 days we'll reach our next milestone which is Tom Turkey Day #2. We'll have a poll that day to celebrate it. And then the following day on Friday we will all celebrate another milestone as we reach the 300 Day Marker to Thanksgiving. Talk about absolutely amazing. That's going to be a BIG one folks. You all know the 3s is the key to the counts. Those are the only hard parts really. Well I hope you all are enjoying your turkey food like CW's subway or turkey thoughts like we all have on a daily basis here. Have a great Winter Doldrums!

Happy Jolting January! We had a little bit of snow on Tuesday. That's one thing I do not want to happen on any of our 3 goals above. We've had it before on Thanksgiving Day but it's not normal for that to happen. What will the weather be on Thanksgiving? I can't forecast it. But I can give you the 3 counts: 302 days till Thanksgiving, 278 days till November, and 217 days till The Bers. All 3 of our countdowns look good to me here in the middle of the week in the middle of the winter. Tomorrow folks is a special day. It will be our next milestone which will be Tom Turkey Day #2, and that will be followed by the 300 Day Marker to Thanksgiving the day after that. Happy Weds turkey fiends! Bitter cold today and snow for me. Decided to roast chickens tonite.. 2 marinated in Italian dressing, 2 with a orange marinade and 2 with a bunch of herbs and butter. A pan of cornbread stuffing and mashed taters.
I always get so hungry and Thanksgiving lonely posting these pictures.

When it comes to Thanksgiving the following 4 things are what most people think about: Food, Football, Family, Parade. Put those 4 in order from most important to you to least important to you on Thanksgiving Day.
For me it would be the following: Family, Food, Parade, Football. It's very close though. I could almost put food last only because I take it for granted.
