Happy Superbowl Weekend! Today folks we move along and see that we have 292 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 266 days left until November and 205 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Winter Wonderland with our next milestone arriving on Thursday. It will be the 200-Day Marker till The Bers. We are in our Quiet Weekend Period Part 1 of 2. Snow is on the way. We have Superbowl Sunday. A party. It feels like The Bers. And honestly this is the last chance we have to really feel like The Bers I think. I don’t think it will feel it again until we are in The Bers. Just my opinion though. Turkey friends I hope your weekend is off to a wonderful and super start. See what I did there? You’ll see a lot of super references today for sure. And I hope you enjoy a nice weekend with your family and friends. Even if you aren’t a big football fan, I hope it will all be a fun time for you this weekend. Enjoy it as much as you can. Weekends are special and this one really does have a Bers feel to it. Happy Saturday everyone! Gotta say I am definately over winter now. Next weekend I get a small break because I will be in Daytona for the race weekend with a long time friend of my family. I plan on smoking 4 turkey breasts with my JD sauce for his crew.

Happy Superbowl Sunday! Today folks we move along and see that we have 291 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 265 days to go until November, and 204 days left until The Bers. We move along in our Winter Wonderland with our next milestone arriving in 4 days. It will be the 200-Day Marker till The Bers. It’s Quiet Weekend Period Part 2. Enjoy it. This is about as laid back and fun/relaxing Sunday as there is during the entire year if you ask me. We’re going to a little brunch and then coming home early to just chill before the game. And then an evening of fun, watching the Superbowl, relaxing, good food and just feeling like The Bers and the Holiday Season. I’ve kept those things with me through this point and I think football has definitely helped me do so. Will be interesting to see how things go forward from here but right now my main focus as it always is (or I try it to be) is on today. And I hope all of you enjoy it. We won’t see any football again until The Bers (NFL Regular Season I mean not counting college, NFL preseason, high school etc.). Friends I hope you are well. Enjoying the journey. we have had together here through the holiday season and through a good chunk of winter. But still a good chunk of winter to go. More snow? I’m sure. More cold? Definitely. But you can see how much brighter it is now into the early evening which is a nice little sign of what’s to come when the time is right. Have a great Superbowl Sunday!

Happy Super Bowl Sunday! This morning has Thanksgiving morning vibes for me--I set out the rolls to rise for the pizza bread and I brought the Crock Pot trio out of the pantry. In fact, I had a revelation over on the Daily Holiday Hangout thread and realized that today is what I keep trying to make Appsgiving be the Wednesday before Thanksgiving so I am going to enjoy today and soak up the Thanksgiving morning/Appsgiving feels!

Happy Double Digits February! Today folks we move along and see that we have 290 days remaining until Thanksgiving, 264 days left until November, and 203 days to go until The Bers. We move along in our Winter Wonderland with our next milestone approaching on Thursday. You think Thursday and you think Thanksgiving but this milestone will actually be the 200-Day Marker till The Bers. Incredible. It’s Monday friends so let’s do our normal Monday thing which is our Weekly Countdown till Thanksgiving Week. It now stands at 41 weeks. Big if you ask me with the 40s getting lower and lower. We move along and start this brand new week with lots to look forward to. At the end of the week and into next weekend you’ve got Valentine’s Day and President’s Day both. I’m taking off next week Monday and Tuesday so a 4-day weekend sounds awesome to me. But let’s not rush ourselves ahead and let’s focus on our Monday and making the most of it that we can. Turkey friends the best to you here on this February Monday. It has been quite a winter I have to say with snow, wind, cold and ice. Not a lot of really mild days or nice days out there where in the past few winters we were spoiled a bit. The best to you today. Have a great Double Digits February!

You think Thursday and you think Thanksgiving but this milestone will actually be the 200-Day Marker till The Bers. Incredible. Happy Monday! The "Calm" before the storm, literally! Snow supposed to start tomorrow morning and we could see 9 inches by the time the snow is out of here on Wednesday morning. I had to tinker with my snowblower yesterday, but I have it perfect now and I'm all ready.

Once the snow gets out of here, we have several more days where it jumps back up in the 50's again. Long term forecast still shows the end of February finally transforming to "true Spring", so I know we will all be ready for that up here.

Ugh more snow!
Yesterday gave me so many Thanksgiving feels, especially early in the morning when I was getting the dough out to rise and getting stuff into crockpots. My again during brother and SIL were the only ones to accept my invite but they were both in good spirits and seemed to enjoy the outing. I enjoyed the food again during the game, and am going to have some leftovers tonight.

Those are great sights to see in the middle of winter when spring is far away, and autumn is a distant memory. Sometimes it can be like Monday Part 2 I joke. Winter is going ok here. Just a cold winter with some wind and snow. But that’s what winter is right?
