DAYS TILL THANKSGIVING: 6
Happy Turkey TGIF! Today folks we move along and see that we have 6 days remaining until Thanksgiving. We move along in our Awesome Autumn with our destination arriving on Thursday with Thanksgiving of course. It’s Friday folks so time for our Fun Fact Friday below (the final one ever in this thread)!
Corn, beans, and squash were known as the “three sisters” by Native American groups and were mainstays at early Thanksgivings.
I have never been a big fan of beans or squash, but I do like corn. I figured that was one of the mainstays but didn’t realize squash was to be honest. I could see beans being there too. But squash out of the 3 surprises me the most. The final Fun Fact Friday of the thread. Don’t worry, Fun Fact Fridays are renewed for the new thread. It seems like some think it would be cool to move the weekly countdown to Thanksgiving to Thursdays, and I think that’s happening. Mondays I think the idea some were giving of recipes made me think of YouTube (which can include anything from recipes to videos of cutting a turkey, or a fun Thanksgiving show, past Macy’s parades etc.). With YouTube we’ll never run out of fun stuff we can find. Have a great Turkey TGIF!
