turkey day desserts?

decision has been made for official t-day desserts. am baking and taking to sisters:
chocolate chestnut cake
lemon cranberry pound cake
gingerbread trifle
bourbon pecan pie
cinnamon molasses pumpkin pie
buttermilk pie

also making and taking:
cranberry relish
cheesestraws
pears and camembert
sandtarts
gingersnaps
nutmeg snowflakes
cranberry orange sugar cookies
fudge (chocolate and brown sugar)

this is not all just for t-day! she will have 8 houseguests plus her, her hubby and 5 kids for 5 days. we will be 18 for dinner.

Cheesestraws.....ohhhhhh yummy! I haven't made them for a couple years. I am so hungry right now...I think I have to drop everything & go make some! Lol!! I will have to make some this year. The last time I made them, I used a spicy cheese in one batch (Sargento's Bistro Blends Shredded Cheddar & Monterey Jack Cheese with Tomato & Jalapeno Peppers) - they were a big hit!! Thanks for the reminder! :smile:
