Christmas Countdown - 2016

My girls had a good first day of classes, everything went smoothly. I'm sure they will be settled in to their new schedules in no time.
I had quite a scare this afternoon. Maggie somehow ended up falling in to the pool. I had to jump in, clothes and all, to get her. That never, ever happened before. Thankfully I was watching her and got to her as fast as I could. It took her a few minutes to stop coughing and calm down but she seemed fine afterward. I think I was more upset than she was. My youngest was with me at the time and of course she's laughing about it now. I could only imagine what I looked like...
Anyway, I hope everyone had a nice day. See you in the morning, goodnight!

I'm so glad you were right there. What a blessing. I hope Maggie is doing well. Prayers for you both.

Good morning. Wednesday and time to get a few things done around the old stompin' grounds. But first coffee and I'll make a couple loaves of pumpkin bread.
It is amazingly quiet and peaceful at 3:30AM. Almost as if the whole world is asleep except me.

We've missed you, but happy because you've been having a good time with your mum! We'll be here to keep you company.

Missed you this summer Festive but glad you got to spend time with your mom. Hope you are around during the Bers for all the fun and celebrations!

How's the Christmas organizing coming?

A little at a time. Right now I have a table covered with Disney ornaments to go through. Then the Peanuts ones, the Crayola ones, the Santa ones and so on...
The interesting thing is that some stir immediate memories, while others I have to ask myself... "When did I buy this?"
The other portion is the items for a Christmas scene/village. I have to admit that I am tempted to put it up now. Not only to see how much I have, but how much will fit in my office. We'll see.
Have a day as big and beautiful as your heart.
