The 'bers are here, the 'bers are here!!!

Happy 'Bers day everyone. I'm celebrating today's bench mark day by having my first cup of coffee for the season (haven't had coffee since April) and a pumpkin cream cheese muffin from Starbucks.

I do hope that everyone stops to have a mini celebration in honor of these glorious months ahead of us and remember why it is we love this time of year so much. Enjoy everybody!!!

I love that idea--wonder what my mini celebration will be? Hope yours was wonderful! Happy September LBK!

After work yesterday evening I was exhausted, after working through some serious pain in the middle of the afternoon. I didn't have a good night's sleep either but at least I'm pain-free. Another afternoon/evening shift for me. This week seems very long to me, probably because I'm looking forward to the long weekend so much.

I have to say it is delightful to read all your posts and to "feel" all of the excitement for September and the months coming up. Have a great Thursday everyone!

I really hope you get better sleep tonight Martine. I love the joy in here today! It's really motivating!

Merry Afternoon all,

Hope everyone is off to a good start.
Beautiful day here today. Still summary at 66F and loving it. It won't be long now till we start plummeting into 40s and below. We only had a handful of days this summer that reached over 70 and blue clear skies were also rare.

Taking the boys for haircuts soon and then back home to start dinner.

Good Morning all....Happy Bers! My b-day was a pretty good day. My daughters made me a cake and they gave me 2 new fall candles. A Pumpkin Spice and Peppermint Candies. They smell so good! Just work for me and I have my Christmas music going. Tonight I am going to decorate my mantle for fall and pull out some other decorations. Have a great day!

Wonderful!! I'll be decorating Sunday I think. Enjoy!!! Those candles sound absolutely diving!

We have that tropical storm moving up from Florida tonight, so everyone around here is battening down the hatches and putting away the lawn furniture. I hate big winds. I'm always scared it'll break more big limbs from my pecan trees. We'll see!

The nights and early mornings have really dipped suddenly this week. I can smell the change in season in the air on evenings.

Thursday. The weekend is so close. Wait. It's September? Happy 'Ber months, everyone! The seasons are so close to changing. And, today, the calendar has changed!

We have had a pretty warm summer in Ottawa. Temperatures have been regularly above 30c/85f. No complaints here. Today, however, we are getting a preview of the comfortable Autumn weather. Temperatures are only to reach 23c/70f. I like it!

It appears that we're back into Pumpkin Spice season, too? I, like many here, love the Pumpkin Spice season, yet do not necessarily partake. I love pumpkin pie and everything pumpkin that is edible. I just do not do those whacky coffees or lattes. Still, I am excited to revel in the smell for the next few months. Our Season is so close!

My breakfast is almost ready. I should really get to that. Have a great Thursday, everyone!!

I'm with you on not partaking brent. I love what it signifies though! The season is so exciting! Glad to see you today-Happy September!

The 1st and the countdown steps up once again. Good morning all. Nice day so far here in Sioux Falls. Got my front lawn mowed right after I got home. I am going to try to get to bed a little earlier today than normal. Just seem to be a bit more on the tired side this AM.
I hope everyone is having (and will continue to have) a terrific Thursday.

Well Rollins passed his exam with our vet with flying colors! Our vet checked him out and told us we got a very healthy puppy (got lucky). Some dogs where we got him from have had problems in the past. They told him he's adorable which I told them that he agrees since he looks in the mirror sometimes.
