I understand that part. I still see some lights out there though which still reminds me of the holiday season. I think due to the snow some people have been putting them on!

Happy Cold February! More snow is on the way here. What a surprise. But guess what I have 3 countdowns for you this morning (another "surprise). We have 280 days till Thanksgiving, 256 days till November, and 195 days till The Bers. Our next milestone is in 6 days when we reach the 250 Day Marker to November followed by the day after that (1 week from today) when we reach another milestone with Tom Turkey Day #3! Sounds like a big week coming next week but what about this week? We have our friend CW returning today. I can't wait to see what he has in store for us this Thursday. He's always giving us good videos every other Thursday here. Enjoy the cold and snow folks if you are getting it. Some day we'll be enjoying spring and remembering these cold winter days. Oh how exciting! I will have see if I can find some turkey chops at the grocery store. If not then I will get ground turkey to make turkey burgers or a turkey meatloaf.
Mmm, turkey meatloaf. Now there's something I haven't had in a while. I will have to bust out this recipe for Tom Turkey Day. I was just wondering what meal I'd have this time, and turkey meatloaf is perfect. Thanks for the idea, Minta!
Morning everyone! Today is video day once again here on the turkey channel. The whole house is suffering from a cold but I mustered up enough energy to get us a turkey basting video to watch. Sit back and pop some corn and I will take a sip of Nyquil.

Happy February Friday! Yeah we made it to another Friday folks here in winter time. We got some snow yesterday. A cold (but dry) weekend ahead. I'll take it at this point. But I'll take these 3 counts even more: 279 days till Thanksgiving, 255 days till November, and 194 days till The Bers. Our next milestone will happen on Wednesday with the 250 Day Marker to November. The following day we have our following milestone which is Tom Turkey Day #3! I'll be here with a poll for that. Thank you to CW for his awesomeness with posting a great video for us again. What would we do without him? Well folks we are heading towards a weekend. I know you're all excited for it. Next week is shaping up to be an awesome week for milestones. Now all we need is some parade news and that would really get me in the spirit for Tom Turkey Day. I doubt that Macy's will drop any tidbits until much later in the year though.

You just watch, that "Bers" count is going to creep up on us like it always does. I remember last year, it felt like it was really a slog to get to 150 days, I'm sure the pandemic didn't help, but even in the midst of the pandemic after we hit 150, the rest of it FLEW. And here we are, 40 something days out from that magical 150 marker...
I think the anticipation for this Thanksgiving is going to be at an all time high, last Thanksgiving was still enjoyable but this year I think will be a little extra special!
